12:00 pm ET Monmouth Park (Race 1) – Mirabella 2/1 (2-star play)

This daughter of Into Mischief was purchased for $690,000 at the 2-year-old in training sales in March last year. While unable to score in 3 starts to date, she has shown plenty of ability, including when 5 lengths 3rd over an extended mile when contesting a Belmont Park maiden special weight in May.

She suffered a bump at the start on that occasion and looks capable of delivering a victory today following a 49.19 4-furlong work at Belmont Park a week ago.

12:27 pm ET Monmouth Park (Race 2) – Hazardous Humor 4/1 (2-star play)

This Frank Russo-trained filly takes the eye having delivered some good efforts in defeat in her recent starts. Those include on-the-board finishes in 3 of her last 4 starts including when beaten 3.25 lengths into 2nd in a 6-furlong allowance optional claimer at this venue last month.

She rallied having raced 5 wide entering the stretch that day and is taken to deliver a third career success with Javier Castellano taking the ride for the first time.

1:52 pm ET Monmouth Park (Race 5) – Consumer Spending 5/2 (2-star play)

This 4-year-old showed she can compete at the top level when 1.75-lengths 3rd in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational Stakes over 10 furlongs at Belmont Park in July last year.

The filly has made just 4 starts since, finishing on the board in 3 of them including when victorious by 0.75 lengths in the Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes over an extended mile at this track last month. She was making her first start there that day and is taken to complete a double.

3:29 pm ET Monmouth Park (Race 8) – Proxy 3/5 (3-star play)

This Godolphin-owned entire delivered a Grade 1 victory in the Clark Stakes over 9 furlongs at Churchill Downs last November. The son of Tapit has generally been in good form, including when winning the Grade 2 Oaklawn Handicap at Oaklawn Park in April.

While he disappointed when last of 8 in the Grade 1 Stephen Foster at the start of this month, he gets a drop in grade today and is taken to return to winning ways.

5:45 pm ET Monmouth Park (Race 12) – Mage 3/1 (2-star play)

Mage has won 2 of his 5 starts, but the second of those victories was a length success in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in early May.

He stayed at Grade 1 level for the second leg of the Triple Crown, suffering a 2.25-length defeat when placing 3rd to National Treasure in the Preakness at Pimlico 2 weeks later. He is selected to return to winning ways following a string of 5- and 6-furlong works in recent weeks.
