1:00 pm Kenneland (Race 1) – Passionfortreasure 6/5 (2-star play)
She has shown good form at Thistledowns this year, including when winning three times in her last six starts. She impressed when drawing four-and-a-half-lengths clear of her five rivals in a six furlong $25,000 allowance optional claiming contest last month. She had previously finished fourth at big odds in a five-and-a-half-furlong allowance event. She has placed twice over this distance in the past and is taken to deliver a victory with Tyler Gaffalione taking the ride on her first start at this venue.
3:40 pm Kenneland (Race 6) – Zainalarab 2/1 (2-star play)
She performed well on the New York circuit earlier in the year finishing on the board in three consecutive starts during the summer. She changed trainers since finishing three-and-three-quarter-lengths third in a mile allowance optional claimer on a good turf course at Saratoga at the end of August. A switch to dirt is no issue with both previous victories coming on the main track and Irad Ortiz looks up to steering the War Front filly to victory on debut for Brendan Walsh.
4:44 pm Kenneland (Race 8) – Master Game 5/2 (2-star play)
He was disappointing in three starts since placing on debut over five-and-a-half-furlongs at Saratoga in July last year including when last of twelve in a six-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight at Kentucky Downs last month when making his first appearance since a gelding operation. But he gets a welcome drop in grade here and having impressed in clocking 47 seconds flat in a four furlong breeze at Churchill Downs earlier this month Mark Casse’s charge is selected to break his maiden at the fourth attempt.
