There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Saturday, including at Keeneland race track. We are still in fine form with our plays, having profited 108.75 units dating back to Aug. 5. Here are 4 runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races on Saturday. It’s time to dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

2:36 pm Keeneland (Race 4) – Afleet Diva 2/1

Unbeaten in two starts having made her debut with an impressive seven-and-a-quarter-length victory when making all the running in a maiden claimer over five furlongs at Del Mar in August. Tracked the pace when finishing half-a-length clear of her rivals upped to six furlongs in a starter optional claimer later that month and is taken to maintain her unbeaten record stepping into open claiming company following a number of promising breezes at this venue in the last month.

3:08 pm Keeneland (Race 5) – Fighting Seabee 3/1

Registered a victory in an allowance contest over a mile-and-one-sixteenth on turf here back in April and has been highly tried at times since including when contesting a Grade 3 at Churchill Downs two starts later. Showed that a victory might not be far away when a close up fourth in a mile allowance optional claimer at Kentucky Downs early last month and the son of Summer Front can register a fourth career success switched to a $50,000 claimer.

3:40 pm Keeneland (Race 6) – Curbstone 2/1

Down the field in a maiden special weight over a mile-and-one-sixteenth on turf when debuting at Saratoga early last month but showed a marked improvement in form when a change of tactics saw the son of Street Sense go down by half-a-length when attempting to make all over the same track and trip later that month. Delivered a 48.40 four furlong work over four furlongs on dirt recently and he looks up to breaking his maiden at the third attempt.

4:12 pm Keeneland (Race 7) – Sovereign Appeal 8/5

Placed on each of her last three starts including when finishing third in a mile maiden special weight at Ellis Park at the end of August. Not helped by being in a duel for the lead on that occasion and having been given a break since then and Brian Lynch’s charge is taken to break her maiden at the sixth attempt with Adam Beschizza taking the ride having clocked 47.80 in a four furlong breeze at Churchill Downs recently.

5:16 pm Keeneland (Race 9) – Ducale 8/5

The Juddmonte-owned colt has shown ability in all three starts so far including when breaking his maiden in a maiden special weight over seven furlongs at Saratoga in July. Raced close to the pace prior to scoring by two lengths that day but tried to make all when finishing third in an allowance over six-and-a-half-furlongs at the same venue subsequently. Can take this event with Brad Cox’s last five runners at this venue have finished on the board.
