Horse Racing picks for Keeneland race track on Saturday, November 5: Put your eggs in this Nest

Jockey Leslie Mawing atop Highwaytwentyseven (5) wins the second race of the day as the Tampa Bay Downs

There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Saturday, including at Keeneland race track. We have been on fire with our picks for a long time now and we are up +245.24 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021.

Here are our best bets for today’s action at Keeneland.

3:55 pm Keeneland (Race 9) – Nest 9/5 (2-star play)

The Breeders’ Cup Distaff has been won by some fantastic fillies and mares over the years including Royal Delta, Beholder and most recently Monomoy Girl in 2020 and this year we have an ultra strong field going to post but they’ll all have to go some to beat Todd Pletcher’s Nest. This filly is a class act. Her last three starts have all resulted in dominant victories with two of those being in Grade 1 company so we could see an impressive winner here.

4:40 pm Keeneland (Race 10) – War Like Goddess 9/2 (1-star play)

War Like Goddess has an outstanding record of nine wins from twelve lifetime starts and she is unbeaten over this twelve furlong trip at Keeneland with two wins from two tries at the distance so a bold bid is expected from her in the Breeders’ Cup Turf which is Race 10 on the card. She has been in great form all season with form figures of 1121 and has an ideal spot in stall two from which she can stalk the pace and pounce in the stretch under Joel Rosario.

5:40 pm Keeneland (Race 11) – Epicenter 5/1 (1-star play)

Now it’s time for the big one, the $6,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Classic. All eyes will be on the unbeaten Flightline here and you can see why with the way he has been blowing away the opposition but Epicenter, who comes into this off the back of an easy Travers win, can upset the likely odds on favourite. Flightline and Life Is Good are likely to take each other on at the front end which will give Steve Asmussen’s colt a lovely toe into the race and I can see him running them down late.

6:20 pm Keeneland Race 12 – Technical Analysis 3/1 (2-star play)

A field of 8 fillies and mares go to post for the Fall Harvest Stakes over a mile on the turf in which Chad Brown holds a strong hand with Shantisara and Technical Analysis and it’s the latter mentioned Technical Analysis who can come out on top. She is a multiple graded stakes winner whom I very much doubt we have seen the best of yet, so she is taken to upset her stablemate in the final race on what promises to be an exhilarating day’s racing.
