1:00 pm ET Keeneland (Race 1) – Tap N Sway 8/5 (2-star play)
She returned to racing from close to or on the speed has suited of late including when attempting to make all prior to finishing half-a-length second in a six furlong starter optional claiming event over six furlongs at Horseshoe Indianapolis last month. She previously finished a good two-and-a-half-length third over five furlongs at the same venue. The daughter of Tapiture is trainer Randy L Klopp’s first runner at this meet and she is taken to deliver a fifth career success.
1:32 pm ET Keeneland (Race 2) – Retained 2/1 (2-star play)
She performed well in three maiden special weight starts to date including when delivering a five-and-a-quarter-length second on a good turf course over six-and-a-half-furlongs at Kentucky Downs just over a month ago. Previously, she finished on the board in two starts at Ellis Park and switched to a maiden claiming contest is taken to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking with regular pilot Martin Garcia taking the ride on the son of Bayern’s return to the main track.
2:04 pm ET Keeneland (Race 3) – Li’l Grazen 7/5 (2-star play)
She changed hands plenty of times in 2022 and made her sole start for her previous strainer when delivering a four-and-three-quarter-length victory in a seven furlong $12,500 claiming contest at Del Mar early last month. She had previously won in a lower grade over six furlongs at the same venue the previous month and the eight-year-old is taken to make her first start outside of California a winning one having joined the Robertino Diodoro barn following that latest Del Mar triumph.
3:40 pm ET Keeneland (Race 6) – Peaceful Waters 6/5 (2-star play)
He finished off the board just once in seven career starts and returned to winning ways when delivering an all the way 12 length victory over six furlongs in an allowance event at Saratoga in August. He employed similar tactics when runner-up in a similar contest prior and having demonstrated good form in the mornings since the son of Dialed In looks up to providing trainer Albert M Stall Jr with a fourth winner from seven starters at this meeting.
4:44 pm ET Keeneland (Race 8) – Strobe 9/5 (2-star play)
The son of Into Mischief made the perfect start to his racing career when making all the running to deliver a four-and-a-half-length victory in a six furlong maiden special weight contest at Churchill Downs in May. Third home that day Elite Power has won all four subsequent starts including the Grade 2 Vosburgh Stakes and the selection is taken to return from a break with a victory, following a 1:00.80 five furlong breeze at Churchill Downs earlier this month.
