Digital Software has shown some solid form in 8 starts on turf to date but has been lightly raced since breaking his maiden over a mile in a $40,000 maiden claiming contest at Saratoga in August 2021.
He returned last year with a 1 3/4 length victory over a mile and 1/16th in a $35,000 waiver claiming event at the same venue and, having gone well fresh in the past, is taken to make a winning synthetic-surface debut on his first start since finishing 4th at Aqueduct in October.
2:40 pm ET Gulfstream Park (Race 6) – Invaluable 7/5 (2-star play)
Invaluable joined her current connections following a half-length triumph in a $32,000 claiming contest over 6 furlongs at Saratoga at the start of September and built on a promising starter-allowance 3rd at Keeneland on her debut for Michael Maker when winning by 1 1/2 lengths in a stakes event over a mile on a sloppy track at Churchill Downs in November.
She looks up to delivering a victory returning to dirt following below-par effort on her synthetic-surface debut at Turfway Park subsequently.
3:10 pm ET Gulfstream Park (Race 7) – Strokes 3/1 (2-star play)
Strokes showed ability when 5th over5 1/2 furlongs on her debut in July and put a subsequent disappointing effort behind her when winning a maiden over the same trip at Woodbine in September.
She followed that up with a good 3/4 length 2nd when upped to 6 furlongs for an allowance optional claimer at the same venue the following month. Given a break since then, the Caravaggio filly looks up to making a winning seasonal debut with Tyler Gaffalione booked to ride.
