Showed good form when placing third, beaten three-and-a-half-lengths in a seven furlong maiden special weight at this venue on her penultimate start. Below that form dropped to six furlongs for a similar contest subsequently. Worth another try at this distance having broke out at the start on that occasion. Gets a drop to $35,000 maiden claiming contest here and can put her experience to good use to score here with her main rivals on paper both making their debuts.
1:10 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 3) – Queen Cupid 5/2 (2-star play)
Performed well for previous handler Peter R Walder winning twice and placing second twice from six starts for the handler. Most recent of those efforts came when beaten three-quarters-of-a-length over seven furlongs in a $12,500 claiming contest here in October. Failed to shine on debut for current connections in a similar contest here last month however but drops in trip here and looks capable of delivering a victory with regular pilot Miguel A Vasquez booked to ride.
2:40 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 6) – Never Satisfied 7/5 (2-star play)
Debuted for trainer Gerald E Brooks with a good two-and-a-half-length third in a five-and-a-half furlong $20,000 claiming contest last month. Below that form when he could finish only seventh in a five furlong $35,000 claiming event ten days later however. Gets a marked drop in grade here and has performed well over further than the six-and-a-half-furlong trip here in the past when runner-up in a seven furlong contest at Laurel in July. Looks up to doubling his career tally.
