12:39 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 2) – Hay Hay Paula 2-1 (2-star play)
Successful in an allowance optional claimer over five-and-a-half-furlongs here in October the five-year-old followed up with a good fourth over 5 furlongs in a similar contest here the following month. Below that form however when slowly away prior to finishing last of seven in a 6-furlong $12,500 starter optional claiming contest here last time out. Gets an easier looking contest here and is taken to deliver career win number 3 with Emisael Jaramillo returning to the saddle.
2:39 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 6) – Super Chow 9/5 (2-star play)
Successful in four of his 5 starts with the sole defeat coming when third in the Grade 2 Saratoga Special over six-and-a-half-furlongs at Saratoga on his second career start in August. Made all the running when taking the Inaugural Stakes over this 6-furlong trip by two-and-a-half-lengths at Tampa Bay Downs last month in his most recent start. The second home that day has won since and Jorge Delgado’s charge looks capable of registering a fourth consecutive victory.
3:40 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 8) – Bemma’s Boy 5/2 (2-star play)
The winner of his only previous start at this venue in the 2020 Grade 2 Pan American Stakes over a mile-and-a-half he was off the track for nearly 2 years thereafter prior to resuming in February 2022. Placed on all 3 starts last year, including when one-and-three-quarter-lengths third in the Grade 2 Elkhorn Stakes over a mile-and-a-half in April. Demonstrated good form in the mornings of late and is selected to deliver a sixth career success dropping back in trip.
