We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time now and we are up +242.82 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. We went 4-1 for +9.4 units on Friday, so let’s keep it rolling!

3:34 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 10) – Endorsed 5/1 (1-star play)
Michael Maker’s Endorsed is doubly entered on Pegasus World Cup night as he is second reserve in the big race itself but looks as though he will end up in Race 10 on the card which is the Grade 3 Fred W. Hopper Stakes and he can run a big one in this.
He was good enough to hit the board in a Grade 2 over course and distance of a mile on the dirt last season and comes into this off a comfortable victory in an Allowance Optional Claimer so he has to go well here.
4:06 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 11) – Sweet Enough 20/1 (1-star play)
Shantisara is likely to take plenty of beating in the Filly & Mare Turf Invitational over an extended mile on the turf but there’s some good fillies lining up against her and I like the longshot in stall four, Sweet Enough, who is getting the hang of things in the States.
This ex-British trained mare has form figures of 071 from three starts on American shores so she is improving and the way in which she stamped her authority on the field in an Allowance Optional Claimer over course and distance last time tells me that she could outrun her odds.
4:40 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 12) – City Man 4/1 (2-star play)
The penultimate contest on a fantastic card at Gulfstream Park is the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes for older horses over a mile and an eighth on the turf and one who will take some stopping is Joel Rosario’s mount, City Man.
Christophe Clement’s son of Mucho Macho Man has won four of his last five starts, all of which have been stakes races, and I see no reason why he can’t go well again for a jockey who knows him well.
5:40 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 13) – White Abarrio 10/1 (1-star play)
Now it’s time for the big one, the $3,000.000 Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup, with favourite Cyberknife looking to bow out by emulating what his sire Gun Runner did and take the victory but course specialist White Abarrio can have his day in the sun.
He’s a four-year-old who is still improving and is unbeaten at this course with four wins from four starts here, one of which was the Grade 1 Florida Derby last year, so if Tyler Gaffalione can get him into a nice rhythm in mid-pack early on then I can see them coming with a late run to upset the likes of Cyberknife and Art Collector.
