Horse Racing picks for Gulfstream Park race track on Friday, February 4: Amazin Queen looks amazing

Gulfstream Park horse racing

There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Friday, including at Gulfstream Park race track. We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time, with a 1st and a 2nd from 2 runners on Thursday taking our profit to 261.45 units dating back to August 5.

Here are 4 runners we expect to perform well today. It’s time to dive in and discuss these potentially profitable plays.

3:37 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 7) – Inter Miami 4/1

Race 7 at Gulfstream Park is a $36,000 Claiming contest over 6 furlongs on the dirt surface and it can go to Inter Miami, who is a 3-time winner at this course and has more than enough ability to win this.

He has hit the board in similar contests in recent starts and of his course wins were over this distance, so there is plenty going for him.

4:11 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 8) – Amazin Queen 8/1

A field of 8 is set to go to post for this $34,000 Allowance Optional Claimer for the female division and the filly in the outside gate, Amazin Queen, can follow up her first victory on this track last time out.

After 4 failed attempts, William Tharrenos’s filly showed battling qualities to break her maiden tag over a trip slightly longer than this mile and 70 yards trip and, now that she has got her head in front, she can win again.

4:42 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 9) – Iron Works 7/2

The penultimate race at Gulfstream Park is an open-looking $61,000 Allowance Optional Claiming event in which a case can be made for many, but none more so that the colt in stall 6, Iron Works. He was a very impressive winner on his debut at this track last month and is taken to make it 2 wins from 2 starts.

Todd Pletcher’s son of Distorted Humor won that debut outing by a convincing four lengths whilst giving the impression that there could be plenty more to come and I wouldn’t want to be taking him on in this.

5:14 pm Gulfstream Park (Race 10) – What Knot 5/1

Jose Sanchez’s What Knot ran a race full of promise when finishing 4th on her debut at this track last month and she can put that experience to good use in this $32,000 Maiden Claiming contest over a mile on the turf in Race 10.

It wasn’t an ideal first race for her as she was bumped at the start and had to come wide of the field, but she should come on a good amount from that and she can break her maiden tag at the second time of asking.
