There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Wednesday, including at Finger Lakes race track. We have been on fire with our picks for a long time now and after 2 wins out of 3 picks at Parx on Tuesday, we are up +297.23 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!
Here are our best bets for today’s action at Finger Lakes.
3:25 pm ET Finger Lakes (Race 6) – Go Cash Go 4/1 (2-star play)
Race 6 at Finger Lakes is a $12,600 claiming event over an extended mile on the dirt and I like the chances of Go Cash Go, who broke his maiden at this track 2 starts back and is good enough to have a say in this.
That victory came in a maiden claimer, and he won that by a huge margin of 13 1/2 lengths over this course and distance, so if he turns up in a similar mood then a big run is in the cards.
3:52 pm ET Finger Lakes (Race 7) – North Coast 4/1 (2-star play)
A field of 9 is set to go to post for Race 7 at Finger Lakes, which is a $32,100 maiden special weight over 6 furlongs on the dirt. The gelding in the outside stall, North Coast, can strike on his first start as a 3-year-old.
This son of Vancouver has form figures of 2-4 in this grade at this course, both of which came in November of last year, and if his recent impressive workouts are anything to go by then he looks to have improved and is showing plenty of speed to do himself justice.
4:19 pm ET Finger Lakes (Race 8) – Sweet As Sugar 3/1 (2-star play)
The penultimate contest at Finger Lakes is an open-looking $25,800 allowance for the female division over an extended 6 furlongs on the dirt. A case can be made for most of the field but none more than Sweet As Sugar, who scored impressively in a maiden special weight at this track last time out.
She had plenty left at the finish after that 4-length victory and she looks like she is just beginning to get the hang of things as she gains more experience, so it would not be a surprise if she backs that up in this contest.
4:46 pm ET Finger Lakes (Race 9) – Interstate 8/1 (1-star play)
Michael Ferraro’s Interstate showed up well on her first start as a 4-year-old when finishing 2nd in a claimer over this course and distance last time. Now that he has that run under his belt, he can go one better in the finale at Finger Lakes.
Rodolfo Ignacio was on board for that latest effort and he takes the ride again, so if the pair can get into a good position behind the leaders from stall 8 they can at least hit the board at nice odds.
