2:13 pm ET Churchill Downs (Race 4) – Good Governance 5/2 (2-star play)

The seven-year-old has delivered some solid efforts since joining the Anna Meah barn from Chad Brown last year. The latest of those came when beaten three-and-a-quarter-lengths in the Grade 3 Canadian Turf Stakes over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Gulfstream Park in early March. Given a break since he should appreciate the drop in grade here and with Rafael Bejarano booked for the ride he looks up to registering a fourth win in six starts at this mile distance.

3:50 pm ET Churchill Downs (Race 7) – Mo Strike 5/2 (2-star play)

Trained by Brad Cox the colt impressed in winning his first two starts including by three-and-a-half-lengths in the Grade 3 Sanford Stakes over six furlongs at Saratoga last July. Failed to shine upped to seven furlongs for the Grade 1 Hopeful subsequently and the drop back in trip appeared to suit when runner-up in the Listed Bachelor Stakes over six furlongs on a muddy track at Oaklawn Park on his seasonal debut last month. Looks capable of going one better.

4:55 pm ET Churchill Downs (Race 9) – White Frost 2/1 (2-star play)

An allowance optional claiming race winner over a mile at Gulfstream Park on her seasonal debut in January the five-year-old has shown good form in defeat in two Graded starts subsequently. The second of those came when four-and-a-quarter-lengths third in the Grade 1 Jenny Wiley Stakes over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Keeneland in April. The pick comes into this on the back of a 49.40 four furlong dirt work here and is selected to record a second Grade 3 victory.
