There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Sunday, including the Belmont At The Big A meeting at Aqueduct. We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time now and we are up +147.15 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!
Here are our best bets for today’s action at Belmont At The Big A.
1:08 pm ET Belmont At The Big A (Race 2) – City Man 9/5 (2-star play)
A Grade 2 winner last December, this son of Mucho Macho Man showed good form when beaten 2 lengths into 3rd in the Grade 2 Fort Marcy Stakes over 9 furlongs at Belmont Park in early May.
The 6-year-old has won 2 of his 3 subsequent starts with the sole defeat coming when 1.5-lengths 3rd over the same distance at this track earlier this month. He looks up to scoring with Joel Rosario back in the saddle.
1:42 pm ET Belmont At The Big A (Race 3) – Caldwell Luvs Gold 4/5 (3-star play)
This Goldencents filly made the perfect start to her racing career when winning a 6-furlong maiden special weight at Saratoga by 2.75-lengths in July. She followed up with a half-length success in a stakes event over the same course and distance a month later.
Trained by Brad Cox, the filly lost her unbeaten record when 1.5-lengths 2nd on a sloppy track at Aqueduct last month but she is taken to reverse form with Cara’s Time.
4:22 pm ET Belmont At The Big A (Race 8) – El Grande O 4/5 (3-star play)
This 2-year-old has plenty of experience already after winning twice and finishing on the board 4 times from 7 starts. His jockey, Jose Ortiz, has been on board for 6 of those starts, including when winning impressively in a stakes event over 7 furlongs at this track in September.
He was unable to dominate prior to finishing a well-beaten 6th in the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes there subsequently but is expected to return to winning ways today.
