The winner of 2 of his last 3 starts, this son of Mucho Macho Man is a proven Graded stakes performer having taken out the Grade 3 Forbidden Apple Stakes over a mile at Saratoga 3 starts back.
He impressed that day and put a subsequent defeat at that level behind him when taking a stakes event over 9 furlongs at this track last month. The 5-year-old is selected to deliver a 5th victory of 2022 with Joel Rosario back in the saddle.
3:16 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 6) – Bank Sting 9/5 (2-star play)
Successful 3 times this year, this 5-year-old mare has been off the track since delivering an impressive 5 1/2 length victory in a 6-furlong stakes contest at Belmont Park in June.
She has delivered some solid works of late, including a 1:00.70 over 5-furlongs on the Belmont Park training track in her penultimate timed work and she is taken to help trainer John P Terranova II to improve on his 18% strike-rate (3/17) at this meeting.
4:53 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 9) – Brattle House 2/1 (2-star play)
Brattle House has demonstrated some good form since joining the Bill Mott barn, following a 5-length victory in a mile allowance event at Belmont Park with 2 2nd-place finishes in allowance optional claiming contests.
The most recent of those came when she was beaten 2 3/4 lengths on a sloppy track over a mile at Aqueduct at the start of the month. She should stay this trip having impressed over a mile and 1/16th in the past and is selected to provide jockey Javier Castellano with a winner.
