1:42 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 3) – Endowed 7/5 (2-star play)
Showed good form in finishing on the board in three of his four starts since taking out a $40,000 maiden claiming contest over a mile here in June. Making his first start since a gelding operation that day and with jockey Trevor McCarthy in the saddle for the first time the son of Tonalist is selected to go one better than when three-and-a-half-lengths second having raced behind the speed early when contesting a mile starter event here last month.
2:12 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 4) – Its All Relevant 7/5 (2-star play)
Appreciated the drop in grade when finishing three-quarters-of-a-length clear of his rivals in a $16,000 claiming contest over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at this venue in June. Returned from a break with a second having tried to make all in a similar event over a mile here last month and dropping in grade is taken to overcome a wide draw to register a 17th victory in 40 career starts with nine of those previous victories coming at this venue.
2:44 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 5) – Disarmed 8/5 (2-star play)
Showed promise when seven-and-a-half-lengths fourth in a five-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight at Saratoga on debut in July and followed up with a head second over the same course and distance early last month. Looks likely to appreciate this step up in distance on his first start at this venue and having advertised his well-being with a string of four furlong works at Saratoga he is taken to break his maiden with Manny Franco taking the ride for Christophe Clement.
3:16 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 6) – Liquidity Provider 6/5 (2-star play)
Purchased for $360,000 at the Keeneland September yearling sale back in 2020 the daughter of Connect went down by a head when runner-up over six furlongs at Saratoga on debut. Had a subsequent winner one place ahead of her when two lengths third having raced from the front in a seven furlong contest at the same venue subsequently. Registered a 49 flat four furlong breeze here last weekend and looks up to getting off the mark at the third attempt.
3:50 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 7) – Amundson 2/1 (2-star play)
Ended his time with Horacio De Paz with a three length victory in an allowance optional claiming contest over six furlongs at Saratoga at the end of July. Never involved following issues at the start when finishing six-and-a-half-lengths sixth over the same track and trip at the start of last month. Winner that day has scored in Grade 2 company since and dropping markedly in grade Rob Atras’ charge is selected to return to winning ways upped half-a-furlong in trip.
