There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Sunday, including at Aqueduct race track. We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time now and we are up +141.55 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!
Here are our best bets for today’s action at Aqueduct race track.
12:20 pm Aqueduct (Race 1) – Magnolia Midnight 8/5 (2-star play)
The four-year-old was claimed for $16,000 out of the Linda Rice barn following a four-and-three-quarter-length victory in a mile claimer at Saratoga at the start of September. The son of Midnight Storm faded into third in a $16,000 starter optional claimer over the same trip at Parx subsequently prior to taking a seven furlong $40,000 claimer here last time out. Manny Franco, on board that day is again in the saddle and the pair look up to completing a double.
1:46 pm Aqueduct (Race 4) – Vergara 6/5 (2-star play)
The filly has shown good form this year including when register a victory in the mile-and-five-sixteenth Grade 3 Ladies Marathon at Kentucky Downs in September. The daughter of Noble Mission’s only subsequent start came when recording a five-and-three-quarter-length fifth in the Grade 3 Dowager Stakes over a mile-and-a-half at Keeneland last month. Graham Motion’s filly sets the standard on form and is taken to register her fifth career win and her second in three starts at this track.
3:42 pm Aqueduct (Race 8) – Masen 4/1 (2-star play)
The British-bred son of Kingman showed winning form in Ireland prior to transferring to the Chad Brown barn last year. The pick won two of his first three starts for Brown including when taking the Grade 3 Poker Stakes over a mile at Belmont Park in June last year. The five-year-old has been lightly-raced since and racing second up here is taken to score here following a ninth over an inadequate six furlongs in the Grade 2 Nearctic Stakes.
