1:20 pm Aqueduct (Race 2) – Two Redheads 1/1 (2-star play)
Showed ability in two maiden special weight starts at Woodbine at two including when fourth in a six furlong synthetics contest back in December. Subsequently changed trainer and took a step forward when five lengths second over this course and distance on a good main track here on her debut for Linda Rice. Jose Lezcano, on board that day keeps the ride and the daughter of Munnings looks up to registering her first victory at the fourth attempt.
1:50 pm Aqueduct (Race 3) – Bank Sting 6/5 (2-star play)
She impressed when winning by five-and-a-half-lengths in the six furlong Dancin Renee Stakes at Belmont Park in June last year. Has finished runner-up on both subsequent outings including over a mile on a sloppy main track here in the Grade 3 Go For Wand in December. Registered some solid works in recent weeks including a 49.52 over four furlongs at Belmont Park earlier this month and with the drop in trip in her favour is taken to return to winning ways.
2:51 pm Aqueduct (Race 5) – Sweet As Sugar 6/5 (2-star play)
She registered two victories at Finger Lakes last year including by nine lengths in a six furlong allowance event in August. Demonstrated that she can be competitive at this venue when delivering a one-and-a-quarter-length second in a $14,000 claiming event over six furlongs here last month. Tackles a similar contest over the same trip here and following a good 36.65 three furlong work is selected to help jockey Dylan Davis improve on his 25% strike-rate (32/129) at this meeting.
