Horse Racing picks for Aqueduct race track on Friday, November 18: These best bets are Magnifique

Swiss Skydiver wins the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Racetrack.

There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Friday, including at Aqueduct race track. We have been on fire with our picks for a long time now and are up +221.84 units on our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Here are our best bets for today’s action at Aqueduct race track.

11:50 am Aqueduct (Race 1) – C’est Magnifique 7/2 (2-star play)

Shown plenty of ability in two starts to date following up a fourth place finish over this trip on debut at Saratoga in July with a good one-and-three-quarter-length second over this trip on a good turf track here last month. Ridden with restraint on each occasion and with the son of Kitten’s Joy open to improvement he looks up to getting off the mark at the third attempt with trainer Chad Brown boasting a 36% strike-rate (10/28) at this meeting.

12:52 pm Aqueduct (Race 3) – Fuoco 3/1 (2-star play)

Delivered a couple of solid efforts earlier this year including when five-and-a-half-lengths fifth over five-and-a-half-furlongs on a firm track at Saratogta in July. However he took a step forward when beaten half-a-length into fourth having been caught late on in a similar contest to that on a good turf course the following month. Debuts for the Jorge R Abreu stable here and is taken to score following a 48.01 four furlong breeze on dirt at Belmont Park earlier this month.

1:18 pm Aqueduct (Race 4) – Khafre 7/2 (2-star play)

Ended his time with James A Jerkens with a two length second in a mile-and-one-eighth $40,000 claiming contest at Saratoga in August. Faded when contesting a $50,000 mile starter event at this track when debuting for his current trainer Philip Antonacci the following month. Shaped as if shorter may suit that day and following a string of good works the American Pharoah colt is taken to register a victory switched to sprinting with Irad Ortiz an eye-catching jockey booking.

2:16 pm Aqueduct (Race 6) – Unruly Julie 5/1 (1-star play)

The winner of six races from 31 career starts the six-year-old delivered a fair six-and-a-quarter-length fifth over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at this venue when making her return for Bill Mott at the end of September. Followed that up with a two-and-a-quarter-length third over the same course and distance when racing closer to the pace here the following month. Has performed at a higher level in the past and looks up to registering a victory with Jose Ortiz booked to ride.

4:12 pm Aqueduct (Race 10) – Bustin The Rules 5/1 (1-star play)

Placed twice over a mile at Finger Lakes in allowance and allowance optional claiming company prior to delivering an impressive six-and-three-quarter-length victory over the same course and distance in early July. Advertised his well-being with a string of works on the training track at Belmont Park in recent weeks including an impressive 59 second five furlong breeze there a week ago and the son of Roman Ruler is taken to score for trainer Charlton Baker and jockey Romero Maragh.
