1:20 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 1) – Sourcing Network 9/5 (2-star play)
A $290,000 yearling purchase at the Keeneland September sale, the daughter of Malibu Moon showed plenty of ability when a neck 2nd over 6 1/2 furlongs on a good main track at Aqueduct in her debut in December. She failed to replicate that effort when disappointing over this track and trip subsequently.
However, she has since delivered some fair efforts in the mornings and, representing the top stable of Chad Brown, she is taken to return to form to break her maiden.
2:20 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 3) – Let Her Inspire U 7/5 (2-star play)
Let Her Inspire U was successful in stakes company 3 starts back when scoring by 2 1/4 lengths in the Empire Distaff Stakes over a 9 furlongs at Aqueduct at the end of October. The daughter of Practical Joke has since delivered a couple of respectable efforts on muddy tracks, including a 3rd over the same trip in an allowance optional claimer last month.
The return to sprinting for this contest should prove no issue and she looks capable of registering a 5th win in 11 career starts.
2:51 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 4) – Brisky Frolic 4/5 (3-star play)
Brisky Frolic impressed when breaking her maiden in a $40,000 maiden claimer over a mile at Aqueduct when in the hands of Todd Pletcher. She has changed trainers subsequently and registered a fair 8 1/2 lengths 4th having tried to make all on a sloppy track $25,000 mile claimer there when last in action on January 13.
Subsequently claimed by current connections and dropping in grade, she is taken to double her career tally following a 47.81 4-furlong work at Belmont Park last week.
3:55 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 6) – Launch Control 2/1 (2-star play)
The son of budget sire Freud impressed when showed good speed in attempting to make all the running in a 6 1/2 furlong maiden on a muddy main track at Aqueduct when making his debut last month. He suffered a head defeat on that occasion but is likely to have improved for the experience.
Having advertised his wellbeing with a solid 4-furlong work at the track last week, the 3-year-old is taken to score at the second time of asking for handler Todd Pletcher.
4:26 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 7) – Save Grace 8/5 (2-star play)
Save Grace broke her maiden at the second attempt when successful by 3 3/4 lengths in a $30,000 maiden claimer over 7 furlongs at Keeneland in October. She subsequently delivered a good 2-length 2nd in a $40,000 claiming race over 6 furlongs on her first start against winners the following month.
She was claimed following that event and is stepping up to a mile for the first time today. The daughter of Super Saver is selected to double her career tally with Manny Franco up.
