12:50 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 1) – Vax 2/1 (2-star play)
Performed well in two starts on a fast main track here since a below par debut effort on a sloppy surface over six furlongs here on debut at the start of October. Raced close to the speed on each of her last two starts including when going down by a head over six-and-a-half-furlongs here last month. Registered three good works at Belmont Park subsequently and is selected to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking.
1:18 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 2) – Tough Street 8/5 (2-star play)
Placed second on three of her first four starts including when runner-up in a six furlong $25,000 maiden claiming contest at Saratoga in early September. Subsequently delivered a wide margin victory over seven furlongs in a similar contest over seven furlongs at this venue the following month and duly followed up when making all the running to score by three lengths in a $50,000 starter event over a mile here last month. Looks capable of completing a hat-trick.
1:46 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 3) – Who Me 2/1 (2-star play)
Signs of ability in three turf starts prior to a fourth in a $40,000 maiden claimer over seven furlongs here when debuting on the main track in October. Took a step forward when going down by a neck in finishing second upped to a mile in a similar contest at this track just over a month ago. Had his rival here Sounds Spooky back in third that day and is selected to confirm that form to register a first victory.
3:12 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 6) – Nova Rags 5/2 (2-star play)
Demonstrated good form at stakes level in 2021 including when third in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens over seven furlongs at Belmont Park. Lightly-raced this time around but ran well when a length second in a six furlong allowance optional claiming contest on a good main track here last month. Returning from a break that day the Union Rags colt looks capable of recording a first victory at this track with Eric Cancel taking over in the saddle.
3:40 pm ET Aqueduct (Race 7) – Drafted 6/1 (1-star play)
Successful in the Grade 3 Runhappy Stakes over this trip at Belmont Park back in May the veteran has delivered a number of solid performances since including when one-and-a-quarter-lengths fifth in the Grade 3 Bold Ruler Stakes here at the end of October. Comes into this contest having delivered a 50.21 four furlong work at Belmont Park on 22nd December and is selected to register a victory here having placed third in this race 12 months ago.
