Scott Lake’s filly has demonstrated a good level of form in her career today and has registered four places in 11 starts including on three of her final four starts in Florida. The most recent of those efforts was a third place finish over six-and-one-half-furlongs in a $16,000 maiden claiming contest at Tampa Bay Downs earlier this month. Debuting for a new trainer here she looks capable of taking this contest dropping in grade with Ruben Silvera up.
2:56 pm Parx (Race 7) – Don’t Call Me Mary 5/2
The winner of three of her last five starts the selection was never involved when finishing last of four in a Grade 2 contest over six-and-one-half-furlongs at Belmont Park when making her penultimate start in September. The drop to allowance optional claiming company was a positive when she justified short-price favouritism to make all over six furlongs at Laurel last month and she can make a winning return to stakes company having won a minor stakes here in August.
3:27 pm Parx (Race 8) – Davidic Line 7/2
Completed a double when registering a victory in a starter allowance over seven furlongs at this track just under two weeks ago. Had earlier delivered an impressive all the way victory when coming home three lengths clear of his nine rivals in an allowance over a mile-and-seventy-yards here last month. Sets the standard on form and stepping back up in distance with a good draw four off the rail looks capable of registering a stakes victory for Jamie Ness.
