1:04 pm Parx (Race 3) – Artie’s Rose 2/1
Demonstrated good form of late including when finishing runner-up in a claimer over a mile at Delaware Park last month. Attempted to make all prior to going down by two lengths on that occasion but is a versatile type tactics wise having raced from off the pace on her penultimate start. Jaime Rodriguez’s mount comes into this on the back of a 1:03.20 five furlong breeze at Delaware Park and is taken to double her career wins tally.
1:31 pm Parx (Race 4) – Dustwhirl Wonder 2/1
Has registered three good efforts in defeat since switching to this venue including when seven-and-a-quarter-length second place in a seven runner claimer over a mile at this venue earlier this month. Dropping slightly in grade here the selection has the services of a top jockey in Ruben Silvera once more and having won at this level at Lone Star back in May the five-year-old daughter of Counter Punch is taken to register her seventh career success.
1:58 pm Parx (Race 5) – Lean On E 2/1
Drawn widest of the six runners here should prove no issue for the daughter of Wilko who raced behind the pace prior to asserting in the stretch when winning by four-and-a-half-lengths in a starter allowance over a mile on the main track here just over a month ago. Gets a slight drop in class here and is taken to get the better of her five rivals with jockey Jomar Torres taking the ride for Louis Linder Jnr.
