12:49 pm Aqueduct (Race 3) – Bustin Bay 6/5
The return to claiming company can see Juan Vazquez’s charge return to winning ways having finished sixth in an allowance optional claimer at Belmont Park at the end of last month. The selection finishing runner-up in a small field six furlong claimer at the same venue on her penultimate start and with Irad Ortiz in the saddle she can register a third win of the year and a second at this track having broken her maiden here back in March.
1:18 pm Aqueduct (Race 4) – Water’s Edge 1/1
David Donk’s colt broke his maiden at the second time of asking when scoring in a maiden special weight over six-and-one-half-furlongs at Belmont Park back in July. The three-year-old raced close to the pace that day and having placed second in allowance company on both subsequent starts including when beaten half-a-length having been forced to challenge wide over a mile at Belmont Park last time out he looks up to registering a second career success following a short break.
2:43 pm Aqueduct (Race 7) – Too Sexy 2/1
The winner of three of her last four starts the daughter of Quality Road made a successful transition to stakes company when racing from off the pace prior to drawing clear of her rivals in the Floral Park Stakes over six furlongs at Belmont Park last month. Gets the same trip here and coming into this on the back of a couple of solid works at Belmont Park she looks capable of providing jockey Jose Lezcano with a stakes victory.
