Things are heating up in the NBA play-in tournament as the season is on the line for both the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls who square off in the 9 vs 10 game on Wednesday. Get predictions on the side and total for the rest of NBA’s play-in tournament games on our NBA Picks page, but now let’s dive into my Heat vs Bulls bet!

Tyler Herro to Score 20+ Points (-370)

Bam Adebayo to Record 10+ Rebounds (-118)

Coby White to Score 20+ Points (-205)

Matas Buzelis 2+ Made Threes (-130)

Same Game Parlay odds: +446

Tyler Herro to Score 20+ Points (-370)

We start off the Same Game Parlay with an easy bet – Tyler Herro to score 20 points. I say easy because he’s achieved this feat in 16 of his last 20 games, while averaging 23.5 points per game on almost 52% from the field and over 40% efficiency from downtown on 2.3 makes per game. Chicago has not been able to close him down in the 3 meetings this season where he has scored 30, 21 and 23 points so I really like his chances of getting 20 in Wednesday’s game. This game will be a battle between two teams with contrasting styles and whoever gets to impose their style will be in a driver’s seat. Almost everything on offense goes through Herro for Miami, he is both their leading scorer and leading assist man this season. With their season on the line, there’s no doubt in my mind Herro will elevate his game to a whole new level.

Bam Adebayo to Record 10+ Rebounds (-118)

Up next we have Miami’s 3rd leading scorer, but we aren’t aiming at Bam to carry the Heat with his scoring here. Instead, we need him to control the glass in this game. He capped off the regular season averaging 8.9 rebounds per game over the final 8 games, grabbing double digit boards 4 times. We all know Nikola Vucevic is somewhat of a defensive liability and not the most physical center out there, so Bam should be able to impose his will down low. Chicago ranked 29th in opponent total rebounds per game this season, with only the lowly Washington Wizards being worse than them. Teams have averaged 54.5 rebounds a night against this Chicago team, this gives me added confidence that Adebayo can clear this line. The Heat are well aware they cannot win this game if they get into a running match with the Bulls, so expect them to put their clamps down on the defensive end, where Bam Adebayo will be the main anchor.

Coby White to Score 20+ Points (-205)

Trading away Zach LaVine has really opened the doors for Coby White to blossom into a real threat on offense. From the start of March towards the end of the regular season, White was one of the most consistent offensive players in the league. Over his last 20 games he averaged 26.1 points per game, that number would have been a lot higher if it wasn’t for the two single-digit games vs Philadelphia and OKC where he attempted a combined 11 field goals. He should be a lot more aggressive on Wednesday, with the Bulls trying to keep their season alive. In 3 meetings with the Heat he averaged 20.3 points per game while clearing this line twice. I’m looking for White to make the most out of Miami’s struggles guarding the three-ball here – they’re allowing 39.6% of threes to go in over their last 3 games. For a bet that’s cashed 16 times in 20 games, we are getting really solid odds here.

Matas Buzelis 2+ Made Threes (-130)

To cap off the Parlay we have the rookie Matas Buzelis knocking down a pair of threes. I actually pleasantly surprised this bet is priced at -130 odds, considering how well Buzelis has shot the ball lately. That might be because he’s just a unproven rookie, but I have full faith in him making a name for himself in this game. He’s done extremely well in games against the Miami Heat this season, torching them for an average of 18 points per game in 3 meetings while shooting 69% from the field and 57.1% from three. Shooting is all this man does – after averaging 35.4% makes from downtown in March, he upped it to 50% in April on exactly 2 makes per game. This bet has cashed in 10 of his last 12 games, I’m confident Buzelis continues this solid run on Wednesday.
