The PGA Tour’s Fall Series concludes this week at Sea Island, Georgia, where Ludvig Aberg is back in action for the first time since August where he will attempt to defend his RSM Classic title. The market for the RSM Classic revolves around Aberg, who capped a superb debut year by storming to a 4-shot victory at Sea Island Golf Club last season. He is the clear standout in this field and history could easily repeat itself if he’s fit enough to do himself justice, but the 25-year-old Swede underwent knee surgery in September so he is entitled to be rusty after a 3-month break.

Taking place on the golfing hotbed of St. Simons Island, Georgia, the RSM Classic is staged across 2 courses with the Seaside Course hosting 3 rounds while one round is played on the easier Plantation Course over the first 2 days. Aberg’s ball-striking came to the fore last year but being long off the tee is not a prerequisite for success because the Sea Island roll of honor is filled with shorter, accurate operators who can control their ball flight in coastal conditions.

I cashed a +4500 winner on the WWT Championship in my last article, so let’s keep the momentum going as we look for another big-odds winner! Let’s get into our RSM Classic predictions and golf best bets.

The RSM Classic golf picks and predictions

Austin Eckroat (+5000)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Austin Eckroat triumphed at the World Wide Technology Championship a fortnight ago and there’s no obvious reason why the 25-year-old Oklahoman will not threaten a quick-fire double.

Eckroat shot 66-63 over the weekend when winning by the coast in Mexico and many of his best results have come under similar conditions — he was 17th at the Heritage in April and an excellent 8th on his Sea Island debut last year.

JJ Spaun (+3700)

Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

JJ Spaun also relishes coastal tracks. He was second to Austin Cook at the 2017 RSM Classic and has placed 16th, 15th and 13th in the last 3 editions of the event, while he was 6th at the Zozo Championship on his penultimate start.

If you want the best odds on our JJ Spaun pick, make sure you head over to Bet365. Right now, new users can click here to sign up for Bet365 and secure $200 in bonus bets INSTANTLY when they create an account and make a first bet of just $5!

Matt McCarty (+5500)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook and Bet365 at time of publishing.

Matt McCarty has won 4 times across the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour since the start of July and he can be forgiven for a missed cut at the Shriners Children’s Open, which came a week after winning the Black Desert Championship. He is an accurate driver and a sharp putter, which has tended to provide the key to success at Sea Island.

Greyson Sigg (+9000)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Greyson Sigg, a Georgia man who is based at Sea Island, has form figures of 4-MC-11-23-9 from his last 5 PGA Tour starts and has finished 15th and 9th in this event over the last 2 seasons. His odds look too big and he could be a danger on the final day.

Get the best odds on our Greyson Sigg prediction with FanDuel Sportsbook. And if you’re a new user, even better! You can click here to sign up and receive $150 in bonus bets AND 3 months of NBA League Pass FOR FREE if your first bet is a winner!
