Even though MLB appears to be at least a month away from starting the 2020 season, there are still endless opportunities to still play daily fantasy sports. The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) is underway as ESPN has been doing daily coverage of the top games. With the amount of coverage, and ability to continue playing DFS, let’s take a look at the top targets and predictions for Sunday, May 24th KBO Expert slate. Pitcher
One of my favorite pitchers on the slate, Chan Gyu Lim of the LG Twins could easily reach another twenty-point performance. Through two starts this season, he has posted a 13:1 strikeout walk ratio through his first 12 innings of work. He is averaging 21.6 Draftking points per game so far and is the 7th cheapest pitcher on the slate Sunday. It’s time to roll the dice with one of the hottest pitchers in the KBO.
Second Base
The Doosan Bears are always on my radar as they continue to prove they are one of the best lineups in the league. Some of that power comes from Jose Fernandez who is hitting near .500 with four home runs through the first 16 games for the Bears. He’s one of the best players in the league and needs to be on your Sunday KBO lineups. With the Bears playing the Samsung Lions on Sunday, it is going to be a firework affair. Start Fernandez.
Shortstop
One of my favorite KBO Expert DFS picks comes from the Kiwoom Heroes. Ha Seong Kim is the name as the 24-year old SS has been on fire so far this season. Through 17 games, Kim holds an impressive .274 batting average, three home runs, and 10 RBIs. Kim is consistently good and will continue to be a must-start on any DFS competition. As long as runners continue to be on base when Kim walks to the plate, I can see the green lights already happening in Draft Kings.
Value Player
Another Doosan Bears enters the KBO lineup as Jae Hwan Kim gets the call. With the Lions giving up over 20 runs in the past two games to the powerful Bears lineup, practically any Doosan player will do the trick. Under $6,000 screams a solid value play as Kim was previous in my lineup a couple of days ago and will earn another slot thanks to his back to back two-hit games. As stated above, expect a lot of fireworks here as the Bears should score often.
