Even though MLB appears to be at least a month away from starting the 2020 season, there are still endless opportunities to still play daily fantasy sports. The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) is underway as ESPN has been doing daily coverage of the top games. With the amount of coverage, and ability to continue playing DFS, let’s take a look at the top targets and predictions for Friday, May 22nd KBO slate. Pitcher
I’m a huge value DFS player, as one pitcher comes to mind for the May 21st slate. Bring in Young Gyu Kim who is on the impressive NC Dinos team. Even though the Dinos have been winning left and right, Kim as yet to register a win which makes his price at $5,500 a steal. He holds a very consistent 13.8 Draft Kings points per outing and has one of the best offenses in the league to back him up. Kim will easily get the job done and should have another 15 point performance in DFS.
Second Base
A position player here as Jose Fernandez has been one of the highest owned players so far in DFS. Fernandez is apart of the Doosan Bears who have been known for the long ball. Fernandez comes into this slate with an impressive .458 batting average. If possible, I would stack every player from the Bears for the Friday slate as they are going up against Ben Lively who is currently sitting with a bottom-five FIP. Yikes. Start Fernandez
Outfield
My favorite DFS player out of the slate comes from the Doosan Bears. Meet outfielder Jae Hwan Kim who has been on fire to start the 2020 season. Through three weeks of the season, Kim holds an impressive 1.034 OPS with four home runs and 15 runs batted in. As stated above, Kim will be going up against Lively who has been below average this season. He holds a 5.54 ERA through his first three starts in the 2020 season.
Another outfield option comes with Na Sung-bum. The popular NC Dinos player has been a hitting machine so far this season as he holds 15 hits, four home runs, and nine runs batted in. Even though he holds a high strikeout rate with 16 total K’s so far this season, he is averaging over 10 draft king points over a four-game span. Stack the NC Dinos and Doosan Bears for May 22nd KBO DFS slate without a doubt.
