A big Wednesday of sports is expected, which means it is time to have some fun and look for some of the best bets across all the different sports and pile them into one parlay. We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay which will take you right through the night, including action from the NHL, NBA and MLB.
One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1077 with BetMGM — that’s 10/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.
Best MLB pick: Houston Astros vs. Boston Red Sox over 10 runs (-115), 7:10pm ET
Houston is the top-scoring team in the league and that has led to a lot of overs. They are going over 60 percent of the time and on the road that number is even higher at 66 percent. Heading into a hitters’ park and with a lineup that is made for Fenway, it is hard not to like the over.

Best MLB pick: Milwaukee Brewers ML (-105) vs. Cincinnati Reds, 7:10pm ET
On Wednesday night, Vladimir Gutierrez (1-1, 2.70 ERA, 5.88 xFIP) makes his third career start for Cincinnati opposite Brett Anderson (2-3, 4.42 ERA, 4.66 xFIP) for the Brewers. Milwaukee’s edge in Wednesday’s matchup lies in their bullpen as the Brewers are in a much better state with their arms at the moment. For that reason, we will be backing the Brewers.

Best NHL pick: Boston Bruins vs. New York Islanders over 5 goals (-145), 7:38pm ET
Game 5 saw oddsmakers move up the Over/Under to 5.5 and it did not matter as the teams exploded for a combined four goals in the second period. Both the Bruins and Islanders had their powerplays clicking and they will be crucial in determining who wins Game 6.
In the five games in this series, three of them have gone over and one has been a push. With this being a must-win for Boston, there should be plenty of chances. This is also the type of game where we could easily benefit from an empty-net goal or two if Boston is losing late and pull their goalie early. For that reason, we will be backing the over.

Best NBA pick: Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns over 222.5 points (-110), 9:35pm ET
We are looking to the over tonight because the Nuggets’ poor shooting in Game 1 was not caused by any specific defensive activity. Denver was getting the shots they wanted and just could not make anything. Despite the shooting woes, the over still managed to cash pretty easily, and we expect the Nuggets to adjust accordingly.
Also, Denver took only six foul shots in the entire game, which is a drastically low number that can only rise as the Nuggets’ management will be on their players to be more aggressive and on the officials to even things out a little. Look for a smoother offensive performance from Denver and take the over.
