We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Wednesday, including action from the NBA, NHL, MLS and MLB. One pick is taken from each sport, and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +778 at DraftKings. Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: Seattle Mariners vs Houston Astros ML (-195), 2:10 pm ET

The Astros are sending Justin Verlander to the mound for the series finale and he should be excited to face the Mariners. He’s pitched against them once already this season, just over 2 weeks ago in Seattle. He nearly had a complete game, going 8 innings while striking out 8 hitters without giving up a run and just 3 hits. It’s not the only stellar performance from Verlander this season; he seems to be in vintage, Cy Young-form. His last outing was similar, pitching 7 full innings, striking out another 8 hitters, giving up just 1 run on 4 hits. Even if Verlander doesn’t handle the complete game himself, the Astros have one of the better bullpens in the league as well. Jose Altuve and the Astros still aren’t back to World Series form, but they’re warming up and should produce more than enough support for Verlander.

MLS: Toronto FC vs FC Cincinnati – Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals (-145), 7:30 pm ET

When looking at both of these clubs, it is hard to ignore the poor defense that Toronto has shown. Both teams have scored in all of Toronto’s 9 games this season, and only their opening 1-1 draw with FC Dallas had under 2.5 goals. Meanwhile, FC Cincinnati has scored in 4 of the last 5 matches in all competitions, with their only shutout coming against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the Open Cup. Expect both teams to get on the scoresheet on Wednesday night, and for this game to be full of entertainment.

NHL: St. Louis Blues vs Minnesota Wild ML (-125), 9:30 pm ET

Early in Game 1, the Wild were buzzing in front of their home crowd, but they were completely shut down by the Blues, who got the first goal 5 minutes in. It should be a close game, but Minnesota is a great team, and can finally find a way past Ville Husso, who stopped 37 shots. Expect a better performance from the Wild defense, with the team’s back against the wall.

NBA: Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns – Over 216 points (-110), 10:00 pm ET

The only way this game should go under the total is if the Mavericks can hold Phoenix under 105 points. That’s a really tough task for a team that is shooting a playoff-best 52% from the field. Even if the Suns come back to earth a little and shoot in the mid-40% range, they can still score 110. Take the over.
