Two picks are taken from the MLS with one pick from the Champions League and MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +540 with DraftKings; that’s more than 5/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.
Champions League: Chelsea tie no bet (-185) vs Juventus, 3pm ET
Despite manager Thomas Tuchel taking charge of the Blues only at the beginning of this year, they excelled in last year’s Champions League with wins over Atletico Madrid, Porto and Real Madrid in the knockout stages before edging out EPL rivals Manchester City in the final. The team looks even stronger this season following the loan acquisition of Saul Niguez and the capture of striker Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.
On the contrary, Juventus are a team struggling to rebuild. They have already suffered losses to Empoli and Napoli in Serie A this season and their 3-0 win over minnows Malmo should be taken with a grain of salt. Chelsea are in much better shape than their Italian counterparts and are worth taking at a decent price in the tie no bet market.

MLS: Inter Miami CF vs Atlanta United ML (-210), 7pm ET
There’s no reason at all to have any confidence whatsoever in Inter Miami right now. After a rough start to the season, Miami finally appeared to get things to click for most of the summer, but they’ve lost their last 2 games, both at home, by an aggregate score of 9-1. Hitting the road to face one of the league’s hottest teams looks to be nearly impossible in their current form.
Atlanta United have been on fire, especially at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, since they replaced Gabriel Heinze with Gonzalo Pineda on the touchline. The combination of Josef Martinez and Ezequiel Barco has finally been able to play to its full potential with no distractions, injuries, or international duties in the way, and the team has gone from the bottom of the pack to a serious playoff contender in just a matter of weeks. Assuming Martinez returns to the lineup (he missed the Philadelphia game with minor soreness), and even if he doesn’t, take Atlanta on the money line.

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies vs Atlanta Braves ML (-145), 7:20pm ET
Max Fried comes into Wednesday’s matchup on a 17-inning scoreless streak. His last 2 starts have been shutouts and they weren’t against teams like the Pirates or Orioles either — he shut out the Padres and Giants in back-to-back starts. The Braves have the more reliable lineup and the stronger pitcher, so this price on the Braves money line has value. Fried seems to have found his rhythm and since the Braves have won 9 of his last 10 starts, the choice is clear.

MLS: Orlando City SC vs Nashville SC ML (-150), 8:30pm ET
Nashville SC have lost just 3 times all season in 26 matches, and they’ve done what Orlando can only dream of – use their defense to their advantage. In the team’s inaugural season last year, Nashville quickly made a name for themselves as a back-line monster, and they’ve only grown stronger in 2021, surrendering just 24 goals all season, fewer than anyone else in the East. It’s been impressive not just how they’ve been able to gel as a team, but how they’ve been able to bring such a championship mentality with them each and every time they’ve taken the pitch this season. Take Nashville on the money line with confidence.
