We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay which will take you right through the day, including action from the NHL, NBA, and MLB.
One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1056 with BetMGM — more than 10/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.
Best MLB pick: Minnesota Twins -1.5 (-105) vs. Baltimore Orioles, 7:05pm ET
Baltimore lost again yesterday, making it 14 defeats in a row. That is bad but they’re not getting trounced and more than half of those losses were by only one or two runs. Baltimore has a very light lineup and their pitching is not good either. They have also been better on the road than at home this season and they are just 6-18 at Camden Yards.
Michael Pineda will face the Orioles for the second time in a week in this game. He just held the O’s to one run in six innings and there is no reason he cannot do the same again. Meanwhile, consistency has been the big challenge for Orioles lefty Bruce Zimmermann. In four May starts he gave up 4, 1, 5 and 1 runs. This inconsistency has us on the Twins’ run line in what should be a comfortable win tonight.

Best NHL pick: Tampa Bay Lightning ML (-110) vs. Carolina Hurricanes, 7:38pm ET
Tampa Bay’s depth is what makes them serious contenders to win the Stanley Cup as Nikita Kucherov has been lights-out since getting back into the lineup with 12 points and three powerplay goals in the playoffs. Victor Hedman leads all defensemen in the playoffs with nine points and eight of them have been on the powerplay. Tampa Bay has won five of the nine games between the teams and we like their depth to be the difference here. For that reason, we will be backing Tampa Bay to take a 2-0 series lead.

Best NBA pick: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns -5 (-110), 10:05pm ET
Anthony Davis being unlikely to play raises many issues for the Lakers. They will have to make adjustments and will probably start Montrezl Harrell tonight. The Lakers have also covered the spread just three times in their last nine outings. They are only 3-6 ATS in their last nine games against teams from their own division as well. Phoenix has the momentum now having won the previous game and, backed by a capacity crowd at home, they can go 3-2 up in the series.

Best MLB pick: Oakland Athletics ML (-160) vs. Seattle Mariners, 10:10pm ET
This will be Chris Bassitt’s seventh start on the road and so far he has been a road warrior. He has a perfect 4-0 record and the Athletics have won all six of his starts away from Oakland. His 3.21 ERA is impressive, but his 2.91 xERA is a career best and puts him in the 82nd percentile. Back the Athletics to end the Mariners’ win streak and pick up the win in Seattle behind a strong start from Bassitt.
