It’s Tuesday and we’ve got another cross-sport parlay for you to indulge in! The NHL is back in full swing after the all-star break, and along with NBA and college basketball action, we’ve got a great night of betting action to look forward to.

We’re in great form on these cross-sport parlays, having cashed last Wednesday’s parlay at 10/1 odds and Sunday’s parlay at nearly 12/1! I’ve taken two picks from the NBA and one each from NHL and NCAAB, and a winning ticket returns +1048 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook — over 10/1!

Let’s break down each of these plays.

NBA: Phoenix Suns ML (-106) over Philadelphia 76ers, 7:10 pm ET

Just a game after scoring 11 points against Washington, Devin Booker bounced back with 38 last night as the Suns took care of business on the road in Chicago. Their defense didn’t have the best of nights as they allowed 75 points in the final 24 minutes of play, but all 5 starters scored in double figures which was enough to get the win. The Suns enter tonight’s game as slight underdogs despite winning 10 of their last 11 games on the road. The 76ers are also coming off a road win at Chicago 119-108, and there was no stopping Joel Embiid who dropped 40 and grabbed 10 boards. This team has been reliable at home lately, winning 4 of their last 5 games.

Phoenix is on a 4-game win streak in head-to-head meetings, and in their last 2 visits to Philadelphia they’ve won by 3 and 13 points. They are 16-10 ATS on the road this season and have won 21 of 26, the best mark in the NBA. Go with the road team to win this one.

NHL: Minnesota Wild ML (-154) over Winnipeg Jets, 8:00 pm ET

This game is a big Central Division matchup to kick off mid-season grinds for these teams, seeing as the Jets need to win a lot of games if they want a chance at the postseason, including games against tough opponents like the Wild. The push starts in this game.

Unfortunately for the Jets, it looks like they will be the losing team in this game, based off how strong this Minnesota team is. While the Wild are comfortably in a playoff spot, they have their aim set on first in the division, and even first in the entire Western Conference. These are very obtainable goals and will be achieved by taking out teams that are clearly weaker than them, like Winnipeg. On the road, the Wild should be able to continue their dominance from the first half of the season and take down the Jets.

NCAAB: Illinois Fighting Illini +6 (-114) over Purdue Boilermakers, 9:00 pm ET

The first meeting between these two took place on January 17 in Champaign and resulted in a 96-88 Purdue win in double overtime. Kofi Cockburn was in foul trouble seemingly the whole game, ultimately fouling out with 10 points and 5 rebounds in 22 minutes played, and a concussion that caused him to miss Illinois’ ensuing games against Maryland and Michigan State. Without Cockburn playing his normal allotment of minutes, Illinois did not have its defensive anchor and the rest of its defense suffered because of it. This time around, expect Cockburn to be on the floor more and for Illinois to show that they are the better defensive team.

Illinois yields the lowest 3-point rate in conference play and holds its Big Ten opponents to 30.5% from deep, which ranks 2nd in the league. Per Synergy, they are in the 95th percentile in defending jump shots and in the 80th percentile in catch and shoot defense. Meanwhile, Purdue ranks in the 25th percentile in defending jump shots and in the 56th percentile in catch and shoot defense. Illinois is the better defense and should have extra motivation to avenge their home loss a few weeks ago. Take the Fighting Illini.

NBA: Denver Nuggets -8 (-110) over New York Knicks, 9:10 pm ET

The Denver Nuggets host the New York Knicks following their 124-104 home win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. The Nuggets improved to 12-8 since the start of the new year, and were able to snap a 3-game losing streak with Sunday’s win. Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic hasn’t skipped a beat this season, and has carried the Nuggets to the 6th seed in the Western Conference while averaging a 24.0 point, 12.6 rebound, and 10.4 assist triple-double in his last 5 games. The visiting Knicks are coming off a 113-104 road loss to the Utah Jazz last night. The Knicks have now lost their last 3 games by an average margin of 9.3 points and have dropped to 7-11 since the start of the new year.

The Knicks are plummeting towards All-Star Weekend. They do not have a single All-Star representing their team, and Julius Randle has been at the forefront of trade talks involving the Knicks. Randle has also shown a clear disregard for certain members of the player development staff, and he recently unfollowed the team on social media. A wild fact to consider for tonight’s game is that the Nuggets have won their last 8 games versus the Knicks. A wilder fact? The Knicks haven’t won in Denver since the 2006-2007 season. Take the Nuggets to cover tonight’s spread at home.
