We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Sunday, including picks from the MLB and NFL. Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +960 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Let’s break down each of these plays.
NFL: Atlanta Falcons +5 (-110) over New Orleans Saints, 1:00 pm ET
Both teams underwent significant changes this offseason, and the Falcons find themselves as 5-point underdogs for the opener. Laying nearly a touchdown with Jameis Winston on the road as he returns from a significant injury in the first game of the post-Sean Payton era in New Orleans does not seem worth the risk.
The Falcons also aren’t nearly as bad as people seem to think. Their weapons are underrated, and Atlanta has a great cornerback duo with AJ Terrell and Casey Hayward manning the sidelines. For that reason, backing the Falcons to cover looks to be worth a play.

MLB: Kansas City Royals ML (-155) over Detroit Tigers, 2:10 pm ET
Brady Singer is developing into the ace the Royals were hoping for. The former first-round pick had a solid first half of the season, but he’s been stellar in the last two months as he posted an ERA of 2.01 in July and an ERA of 2.92 in August. This will be Singer’s third start against the Tigers this season, and in 10.2 innings against them, he has allowed 3 runs and 13 hits to go along with 15 strikeouts. Singer is the better pitcher in this matchup, and he will face a Detroit offense that ranks 30th in OBP and OPS when away from home. Back the Royals.

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers ML (-130) over San Diego Padres, 4:10 pm ET
Left-hander Andrew Heaney is projected to start for the Dodgers. He is 2-2 in 11 starts with an ERA of 2.94. Heaney will also have a small advantage being a lefty, as the Padres rank 16th in team average and 19th in OPS against left-handers on the season. The biggest edge in this game is the Dodgers offense, so take the Dodgers money line.

NFL: New York Giants vs Tennessee Titans – Under 44 points (-110), 4:25 pm ET
With a Giants team in transition and a Titans team that loves to lean on the run and chew up the clock on every down, a game total of 44 screams to take the under. The Giants offense will do its best to speed up the pace of play, but given the typical growing pains you see in a team learning a new system, we could see a lot of early three-and-outs. Meanwhile, the Titans should continue to work a slower, much more methodical game plan, which makes the under worth a play.
