By comparison she has won 104 matches on clay. Kenin should take this one comfortably even if she doesn’t play particularly well.

The Mariners have struggled with the Tigers this season, despite the fact that Detroit is hovering around 30 games below .500. The Tigers have won 4 of the last 5 matchups against the Mariners, and starting pitcher George Kirby simply allows too much hard contact.

Since returning from injury Detroit starter Matt Manning has pitched to an ERA of 2.37 over 7 starts. Add in the Tigers’ solid bullpen and backing them as an underdog looks to be well worth a play tonight.
