We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Tuesday, including picks from MLB and MLS. Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +714 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: New York Mets -1.5 (-180) over Washington Nationals, 7:05 pm ET

The Mets certainly aren’t cutting the league’s worst team any breaks, as they just had Max Scherzer on the mound for the series opener on Monday. Facing two of the best pitchers the league has ever seen on back-to-back nights is a nightmare for any team, let alone Washington. With how much time and concern the Mets put into deGrom’s return, we are going to trust him to look like his usual self.

Last season deGrom did not allow more than a single earned run in any of his first 12 starts. While it’s not quite fair to use such a dated sample, the Nationals have only gotten worse. They’re already the worst team in the league and are now without superstar Juan Soto. Even before trading Soto and Josh Bell, the Nationals have the league’s worst starting rotation and just overtook the Reds for the worst overall team ERA. While the Mets are getting back a generational talent, the Nationals are losing theirs. This game will likely be decided by multiple runs.

MLS: New York Red Bulls ML (-150) over Colorado Rapids, 7:30 pm ET

The New York Red Bulls will look to get back on track on Tuesday night as they have only one win in their last five matches in all competitions. Though they have not registered a goal in their last two home games, the Red Bulls rank 10th in MLS, averaging 1.55 goals per match.
On the other side, the Rapids have lost seven of those 10 away games and conceded 21 road goals. Head-to-head the Red Bulls have a 3-1-3 record at home against Colorado. New York has struggled at times at home this campaign, but the are in a good spot on Tuesday night. In 70% of their away contests, the Rapids have conceded two or more goals, and a team that likes to press high like the Red Bulls could spell bad news for Colorado. For that reason backing the Red Bulls to win looks to be the safest play for this parlay.

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers ML (-140) over San Francisco Giants, 9:45 pm ET

It will be a southpaw showdown on Tuesday as Alex Wood will oppose Tyler Anderson. This will be Wood’s 3rd start against the Dodgers this season, and through his first 2 starts, he has allowed 5 runs on 8 hits in 9.1 innings. The southpaw has thrown the ball well in July, but Wood’s biggest weakness is his inability to go deep into games. That leaves a lot of innings for the Giants bullpen which is not good if San Francisco values winning. In the second half of the season, the Giants arm barn ranks 29th in ERA, 27th in FIP, and 28th in xFIP, so leaving them several innings to face the Dodgers offense is a bad matchup for San Francisco.

Similar to the Giants bullpen, the San Francisco lineup has been dreadful since the all-star break as it ranks 28th in batting average and OPS in those 11 games. For that reason backing the Dodgers will be the play on Tuesday night.

MLS: Seattle Sounders ML (-120) over FC Dallas, 10:00 pm ET

Head-to-head in 34 all-time meetings between these sides, Seattle has the edge, winning 16 times. FC Dallas have not won in their last 15 attempts at Lumen Field. Both clubs could be feeling a tad fatigued due to the short break in between matches. However, Seattle should have the edge in this situation. They know this is an opportunity to inch towards a playoff spot. Therefore, take Seattle to collect all 3 points on Tuesday night.
