We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday, including picks from the MLB, EPL, MLS and NFL preseason. One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +991 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL: Brentford vs Manchester United – Over 2.5 goals (-125), 12:30 pm ET

Erik ten Hag’s reign as Manchester United coach got off to the worst possible start as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Brighton. They now face a tricky visit to Brentford to take on the Bees, who came from 2-0 down to rescue a point against Leicester on Sunday.

Over 2.5 goals landed in both of the games between these clubs last season and given the clear defensive issues that remain for Ten Hag’s side, backing the same will be the play today.

NFL preseason: Kansas City Chiefs ML (-110) over Chicago Bears, 1:00 pm ET

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has a 42-45 overall preseason record, but he’s had a losing year only once in his last 6 preseason campaigns. Last year’s 3-0 record started with a road win at San Francisco, and their trip to Chicago should rate an easier test. Reid has said he will play each of his QBs for a quarter, including Patrick Mahomes in the first quarter. Based on the fact that Reid is not shying away from giving his top squad some action, backing the Chiefs will be the play this afternoon.

MLB: San Diego Padres -1.5 (-170) over Washington Nationals, 7:05 pm ET

The projected starters for this game are right-handers Yu Darvish for the Padres and Anibal Sanchez for the Nationals. Darvish is 10-5 in 21 starts with an ERA of 3.28. Darvish has pitched well lately, as his last 3 starts have all been quality starts, pitching at least 6 innings and allowing 3 or fewer earned runs.

Sanchez, who came off the IL in mid-July, is 0-5 in 5 starts with an ERA of 7.56. Sanchez may still be trying to get his bearings on the season, but nothing has gone right as his 2 starts in August have been brutal with an ERA of 7.71.

Offensively, the Padres rank around the top 10 in most offensive stats in the 15 days, while the Nationals are closer to the bottom 10. Take Darvish over a struggling Sanchez and take the Padres run line.

MLS: FC Cincinnati ML (+100) over Atlanta United, 7:30 pm ET

Following the capture of Matt Miazga from Chelsea, FC Cincinnati may soon see improvements to its defensive game, but recently it has been all about offense. The Orange and Blue have scored 40 goals in 24 matches in the Eastern Conference this season and are coming off a 3-1 statement win over the Philadelphia Union.

The home team should feel confident with a victory over Atlanta United, who find themselves in the congested lower half of the Eastern Conference and have won only 1 of their last 4 matches. For that reason, backing Cincinnati on the money line will be the play tonight.
