We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday, including picks from the MLB and MLS. Two picks are taken from both the MLB and MLS. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +876 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Let’s break down each of these plays.
MLS: New England Revolution vs New York City FC – Both teams to score and over 2.5 total goals (-130), 1:00 pm ET
Both teams have scored in 4 of the hosts’ last 5 games, and the Revs have had the same result in 5 of their last 6. Four of the last 5 meetings between NYCFC and New England in MLS play finished with both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals. The Revs and NYCFC should find the back of the net at least once, and we predict the teams can combine for over 2.5 goals in their first MLS meeting this season.

MLB: Miami Marlins vs New York Mets – Over 8 runs (-110), 4:10 pm ET
Miami’s Braxton Garrett and his inability to pitch deep into games should play right into New York’s hands. The Marlins’ bullpen ERA is down with the likes of the Oakland A’s, and the Mets have already proved that even their worst hitters can dominate them. Miami does deserve some credit for the power in their lineup too. They can do some damage against Carlos Carrasco, who has been shaky this season. For that reason, expect the Marlins to produce enough offense to drive in a few runs to get this game over the total.

MLB: Atlanta Braves -1.5 (-125) over Washington Nationals, 4:10 pm ET
Although the Mets are leading the NL East, the argument could be made that this series is between the division’s best and worst teams. Atlanta surged through June with 21 wins, while the Nationals have been one of the worst teams all season. Washington won’t have to deal with their ace Max Fried tonight, but Kyle Wright is still far better than anyone they can throw on the mound. With Washington being an inferior team, look for Wright to pick up his 10th win of the year convincingly.

MLS: Nashville SC vs Charlotte FC – Under 2.5 goals (-165), 7:00 pm ET
Neither team has kept a clean sheet in their last 4 matches, but both defenses can remain organized tonight. Charlotte is a much different team at home, and their games at Bank of America Stadium average just 2.00 goals. Nashville SC’s road matches are averaging a total 2.45 goals, and 6 of their 11 road matches have finished with under 2.5 goals. We expect both defenses to be focused in a critical matchup and predict this matchup will finish under 2.5 goals.
