We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Monday, including picks from the MLB and MLS. Two picks each are taken from the MLS and MLB and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +858 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s break down each of these plays.
MLB: San Francisco Giants ML (-190) over Arizona Diamondbacks, 6:10 pm ET
The projected starters for Monday evening are Carlos Rodon for the Giants and Madison Bumgarner for the Diamondbacks. Rodon has been solid all year, going 7-4 in 15 starts with an ERA of 2.62. His June was even better, posting an ERA of 1.25. Bumgarner has been much less effective, going 3-8 in 16 starts with an ERA of 3.63. His June was a nightmare, however, posting an ERA of 4.06.
Offensively, both teams rank in the bottom 10 in team average and OPS in the last 15 days, so because Rodon has been the much more effective starter throughout the season, backing the Giants will be the play.
MLS: Austin FC vs Colorado Rapids – Under 2.5 goals (+110), 9:00 pm ET
The main problem with the Colorado Rapids is that they cannot keep up when teams are scoring freely. They have yet to win a match when their opponents have scored, so their defense should be well organized.
The Rapids give up just 0.5 goals per contest at home, and there have been 2 or fewer goals in 4 of their last 5 home matches. Both of Austin’s last 2 road wins were by 1-0 scorelines, and a similar score could be in store today, so backing the under will be the play.

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (-145) over Oakland Athletics, 9:07 pm ET
Poor relief pitching is one of many flaws for the A’s, and theirs is the 6th-worst in the league. However, that’s incredible compared to their lineup, which is dead last in terms of team OPS. They’ve been shut out more than any team in baseball, including back-to-back games against the Royals.
Toronto starter Alek Manoah has a record of 9-2 this season and has posted an ERA of 2.09 over 94.2 innings. He’s already led the team to a win over the A’s and that was before the Blue Jays lineup found its swing. For that reason, backing the Blue Jays on the run line looks to be worth a play.
