MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (-115) vs Cincinnati Reds, 6:40 pm ET
While Clayton Kershaw may be considered the face of the Dodgers, Tony Gonsolin has been phenomenal this season with an 8-0 record. His impressive 1.42 ERA isn’t some skewed number from a small sample size as he’s had 12 starts, taking down great lineups from the Mets, Phillies, and Braves. With a lineup consisting of an entire all-star team to support him, he should get his second win against Cincinnati this season.

College World Series: Auburn Tigers ML (+125) vs Arkansas Razorbacks, 7:00 pm ET
Mason Barnett is expected to get the ball for Auburn and he has pitched well in his recent starts, including a 5.1 scoreless inning performance against UCLA in the Regionals. He followed that outing with 4.1 innings against a strong Oregon State team in the Super Regionals and allowed 1 run on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts.
The Tigers have not shown their best offense in Omaha yet, but they were able to score 6 runs against the strong Stanford pitching yesterday and should be able to score several runs against the depleted Arkansas bullpen. Auburn offers value as the underdogs tonight with the healthier pitching staff, so back the Tigers to keep their season alive and pull off the upset in Omaha.

MLB: Detroit Tigers vs Boston Red Sox -1.5 (+105), 7:10 pm ET
At this point in the season with enough of a sample size from both teams, things are loaded heavily in favor of the Red Sox. They are 14-4 in their last 18 games and 6-2 in their last 8 at home. They are now 4-1 against Detroit this season as well. On top of that, the Red Sox offense ranks higher than Detroit in batting average, home runs, stolen bases, runs scored, OBP, slugging, OPS, hits, doubles, walks and strikeouts. Boston’s pitching staff ranks higher than Detroit’s in ERA, WHIP, opponent batting average, earned runs and hits. For that reason, backing the Red Sox on the run line will be the play.

MLB: San Francisco Giants vs Atlanta Braves ML (-170), 7:20 pm ET
The Braves improved to 16-2 in June last night and continue to chase the New York Mets. Spencer Strider will make his 5th start for Atlanta since joining the rotation. He struggled in his first start, but has settled down since, pitching to a 1.76 ERA over his next 3 starts, and is coming off an 11-strikeout performance against the Nationals just last week. The Braves certainly have the pitching advantage in this matchup and have been dominant in June. Over the past 5 games, the Braves’ pitching staff have allowed a total of only 10 runs, and boast a 2.89 bullpen ERA. The Braves have the better lineup, starting pitcher and bullpen, and aside from the Yankees they’re the hottest team in baseball. Back the home team tonight.
