We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday night including action from the NHL, MLB Playoffs, NFL and College Football.
One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +972 with DraftKings; that’s more than 9/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.
NHL: Toronto Maple Leafs ML (-175) vs Ottawa Senators, 7pm ET
Toronto comes into this matchup with not only the better team, but the more consistent goalkeeper. Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews is still nursing a wrist injury that has him expected to miss the first 3 games of the year. Even without their leading goalscorer, expect Toronto to win this game without too much trouble, no matter who Ottawa has in net. Take Toronto on the money line over the puck line in this one since Matthew’s absence is allowing the money line to still have value.

College Football: Navy Midshipmen vs Memphis Tigers -11 (-115), 7:30pm ET
Any game with a service academy is interesting. They don’t have the best talent but the option offense has been known to confuse defenses and they have relied on that to win games. Memphis doesn’t have the best defense and the Navy game plan could puzzle the Tigers, but their offense is good enough to destroy this Navy defense. The Midshipmen allow on average 360 yards per game and 32.2 points per game, which is 106th in the FBS. The Midshipmen offense averages only 281.6 yards per game and 17.6 ppg, which is 121st in FBS. If the Tigers can stay disciplined on defense then this should be a blowout. Look for Memphis to put up enough points to cover this spread.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles +6.5 (-115), 8:20pm ET
Aside from that Dolphins win last week, the Bucs have struggled to put teams away and Tom Brady could be frustrated by a Philly defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest passing yards per attempt this season (6.6). It’s worth noting that the Bucs are 1-7 against the spread in their last 8 Thursday Night Football games, and the Eagles could continue Tampa’s midweek struggles. Back Philly to keep this one within a touchdown.

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers vs San Francisco Giants ML (-105), 9:07pm ET
The Giants have been one of the most balanced teams in the league. Their offense, starting pitching, and bullpen have all been far above average. Their best chance of winning has been with Logan Webb on the mound. The 24-year-old was dominant in the second half of the season with a 2.71 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP, and the Giants lost just 2 of his 16 starts. Webb is at his best when he’s on his home mound, as he is 6-0 with a 1.96 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP in 13 games and he has held opponents to a .213 batting average.
This has the potential to be one of the best games of the year and the Giants can continue their magical season and come out on top to advance to the NLCS to face the Braves. Back Webb and the Giants at home on the money line.
