We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including action from the MLB, NBA and NHL.

One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +847 at DraftKings. Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: Milwaukee Brewers ML (-180) vs Chicago Cubs, 2:20 pm ET

The Brewers enter the season with high expectations and the 7th-shortest odds to win the World Series at +1400. Much of their success rides on the arms of their starting rotation, which features 3 serious Cy Young contenders in Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff and Freddy Peralta, not to mention a bullpen consisting of Devin Williams and Josh Hader, who account for the last 4 NL Reliever of the Year Awards.

The Brewers are built on dominant pitching from top to bottom, and 2021 Cy Young winner Burnes will be toeing the rubber for the Brew Crew. Offensively, the Brewers added veteran Andrew McCutchen and Hunter Renfroe, who combined for 58 home runs last season. Burnes will be facing a Cubs lineup that struck out more than any other team last season and looking to find themselves early on. The Brewers money line is the recommended play.

NHL: Philadelphia Flyers vs Columbus Blue Jackets ML (-135), 7:05 pm ET

The Flyers and Blue Jackets change venues from Philadelphia to Columbus to face each other in back-to-back games after their matchup on Tuesday night. Neither team has been great this season, but the Jackets have been the better of the two. Look no further than the Metro Division standings, where they are 17 points above Philly.

The Jackets won this matchup 4-2 on Tuesday, and that game took place on the road. Now in Columbus, expect Patrik Laine and company to be even more comfortable against this low-flying Philly team.

NBA: Orlando Magic vs Charlotte Hornets – Over 230.5 points (-110), 7:10 pm ET

Over their last 3 games the Hornets are giving up an NBA-high 134 points per game. Their defense has been horrible all season, but especially over the past 7 days. They rank just 28th in points allowed per game this season and one of the main reasons for that is they like to push the pace.

Charlotte is averaging 102.4 possessions per game, which ranks 4th in the NBA. Orlando is 7 spots below them averaging 101.5 possessions, so they are no strangers to playing fast paced games themselves. The total has gone over in 7 of 10 meetings between the teams and in 5 of the last 6 played at Spectrum Center. We should be in for another high-scoring game, so back the over.

NHL: Calgary Flames vs San Jose Sharks – Over 6 goals (-120), 10:35 pm ET

A total opening above 6 in a Flames game can leave bettors torn. They have the firepower to torch opposing goaltenders, but also have their own goaltender in Jacob Markstrom who has had a blazing success of a season. The fact that we’re expecting Dan Vladar in net for Calgary is the deciding factor for this over prediction.

The Flames should certainly get theirs; they are the 7th-ranked goalscoring team, averaging 3.46 per game, and facing a Sharks team allowing 3.16 goals per game. That leaves us relying on San Jose to provide a few goals of their own. Given their previous results against Calgary and the Flames’ backup goaltender in net, we should trust them to do so.
