We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including action from the NHL, Europa League and MLB. One pick is taken from each sport, with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +653 at DraftKings. Let’s break down each of these plays.
MLB: Cincinnati Reds vs Milwaukee Brewers ML (-225), 1:40 pm ET
The Cincinnati Reds are having a historically bad start to the season and lost their 8th straight game on Wednesday to drop to 3-21. Nothing is going the Reds’ way and it seems to be getting worse by the game.
The Brewers are scheduled to start Adrian Houser, who is 2-2 on the season and has an ERA of 2.53. In 4 starts this season, Houser has allowed a total of 6 earned runs over 21.1 innings. His last 2 starts have been losses, but he allowed only 2 and 1 runs in those games.
The Reds are horrendous and with Houser on the mound for Milwaukee, there is no reason to believe they will snap their losing streak today. Houser has been more than serviceable this year, so backing the Brewers is be the play.

Europa League: Eintracht Frankfurt vs West Ham – Over 2.5 goals (-130), 3:00 pm ET
West Ham was beaten 2-1 in the first leg of its Europa League semifinal against Eintracht Frankfurt, but the Hammers should not have been disappointed with their performance. They created plenty of chances at the London Stadium and were the dominant force in the game for the final 30 minutes.
This situation should lead to an open contest and backing over 2.5 goals looks the smart play. Five of West Ham’s last 8 games have gone over that mark and they have defensive selection issues. With the EPL team likely to have to push forward, there should be plenty of chances at both ends of the field.

NHL: Washington Capitals vs Florida Panthers – Over 6.5 goals (-130), 7:30 pm ET
The Panthers scored at the best rate of any team in the league this season. However, in Game 1, they were limited to only 2 goals by a motivated Capitals defense. Expect that to change in this game, because Florida is just too dynamic and offensively gifted to average 2 goals. Washington scored 4 against the Panthers and could likely score a similar total. The Panthers put defense in the back seat compared to offense, which will leave chances for the Capitals all game.

NHL: Nashville Predators vs Colorado Avalanche -1.5 (-150), 9:30 pm ET
The Predators stood little chance against the Avs’ all-star roster with backup goaltender David Rittich starting Game 1 and a 3rd-stringer coming in after he was pulled. Rittich allowed 5 goals in the first period and was taken out soon after. The only real hope for Nashville is if Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi and Matt Duchene can at least come close to the performance of the Avs’ stars. However, only Duchene had any production while Forsberg and Josi were held pointless. Forsberg was unable to even get his usual 3 or more shots on goal in Game 1. While there are some extremely close series in the East, this one in the West is quite the opposite. Colorado is now around a -2100 favorite to win the series. Paying -150 for them to produce another dominant performance is more than reasonable.
