We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Super Bowl Sunday, including action from college basketball, the NFL and the NHL.
One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +884 with DraftKings Sportsbook — that’s more than 8/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.
NHL: Ottawa Senators vs Washington Capitals 3-Way ML (-165), 12:30 pm ET
The Capitals possess one of the deepest lineups in the league and rank in the top 10 in goals for and against per 60 minutes. The Caps also get superstar Alex Ovechkin back for this game after a short stint on the Covid list, so the home team will be at full strength. Washington has posted 10 straight victories over the Senators and should have no trouble making it 11 straight wins. With the Senators playing for the second consecutive night and for the 5th time in 7 days, while Washington remains at home with the rest advantage and gets one of the best players in the sport back, take the Capitals.

College Basketball: Northwestern Wildcats vs Illinois Fighting Illini -10.5 (+100), 2:00 pm ET
The Illinois offense is built around pick-and-roll and Kofi Cockburn post-ups, both of which pose a challenge for Northwestern’s defense. Northwestern ranks in the 54th percentile in pick-and-roll defense, and just the 40th percentile in post-up defense. Expect to see a bounce-back performance from the Illini offense after they scored just 1.03 points per possession on Purdue’s sub-par defense. On the other end, the Illinois defense ranks second in the Big Ten in adjusted defensive efficiency, so expect Northwestern’s offense to struggle to score enough to allow the Illini to cover this number.

NHL: Colorado Avalanche ML (-160) vs Dallas Stars, 2:05 pm ET
Colorado comes in as the favorite in this game, based on their impressive play this season that has them 1st in this division, 1st in the conference, and 1st overall in the league. At this point, any opponent playing Colorado will be deemed underdogs.
Even if Dallas brings an A+ game, it may not be enough to squeak out a win. Colorado just has too much talent. The Avs are in 1st place for a reason. This is a good game between divisional opponents with lots to play for, but ride with the dominant Avalanche.

Super Bowl 56: Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals – Under 48.5 points, 6:30 pm ET
This is one of the worst matchups possible for Cincinnati’s offense. Jalen Ramsey can help to neutralize Ja’Marr Chase, and the Rams’ dominant pass-rush should have a field day against the Bengals’ barely-there offensive line.
The Rams’ offense didn’t exactly look dynamic against the 49ers as they put up only 20 points, and these teams are a combined 5-1 to the under this postseason. Los Angeles’ defense dominated Kyler Murray in the first round, made life miserable for Tom Brady in the second round, and then held a Kyle Shanahan offense in check in the NFC Championship Game. Take the under.
