Selection Sunday is finally here and we have been waiting for this day for about two years now. Even with college basketball as the focus, there are still plenty of games to find value on for Sunday. This means it is time to have some fun and look for some of the best bets across all the different sports and pile them into one parlay. We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay which will take you right through the day, including action from the NHL, NBA, and college basketball.

Each pick is taken from a different sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1335 with BetMGM — more than 13/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.

Best NHL Pick: Arizona Coyotes vs. Minnesota Wild ML (-185), 2 p.m ET

The Minnesota Wild played a brilliant game on Friday night against the Arizona Coyotes, winning 4-0 for their third win in a row and fourth in their last five. The Wild have been one of the top teams over the last two weeks with a 3.4 goals for average over their last five games and only 1.8 against during that span. The Coyotes have only averaged 2.48 goals for and have the lowest shots per game at 25.5. Starting goalie Darcy Kuemper looks to be out long term and the Coyotes will start Antti Raanta on Sunday. Raanta is not great and has a 3.39 goals against average this season. He won’t have much support in front of him either, therefore we like the Wild to win this game.

Best College Basketball Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Illinois Fighting Illini -6.5 (-105), 3:30  p.m ET

Illinois ranks 17th in the country and first in Big Ten play in two-point percentage, while Ohio State ranks just 11th in the Big Ten in defending the two-point shot. Kofi Cockburn is a monster inside and should be able to score at will against a thin Ohio State front line. Defensively, Illinois ranks 25th in the country in two-point defense, 37th nationally in limiting the three-pointer. Because the Illini are a much more complete team, we like them to win and cover this game.

Best NHL Pick: New York Islanders -1.5 (+150) vs. New Jersey Devils, 5 p.m ET

The Islanders come into this game riding an eight-game winning streak. They rank fifth in the NHL in shots against per game with 27.4. They are also the best defensive team in the NHL. The Islanders rank first in the league at 2.18 goals against per game. After Saturday night’s loss, the Devils are now 2-11 in their last 13 games. They have struggled both offensively and defensively. They are allowing the 10th most goals against per game, with 3.21. The Islanders are just a much better team; I will be taking them on the puck line.

Best NBA Pick: Portland Trailblazers -5 (-110) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 8 p.m ET

Portland is 8-2 in the last their last 10 games, winning by an average of 6.5 points per game. They are also 11-5 ATS in their last 16 against Minnesota and 22-8 ATS in their last 30 visits to Target Center. Timberwolves have just one win in their last 11 outings and have covered only twice in those 11 games. Take Portland to cover and beat the Wolves in back-to-back games.
