We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Sunday, including action from the MLS, NBA, NHL, and MLB.

One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1355 at DraftKings. Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLS: Real Salt Lake vs New York City FC -1.5 (+135), 1:00 pm ET

This is one of the more exciting MLS games of the weekend, saved for the Sunday afternoon marquee spot, but while neither team has been superior to the other this season, expect New York’s recent glory and home-field advantage to make the difference. Take them on the spread -1.5 for a better chance at making a good profit.

MLB: San Francisco Giants ML (-130) vs Cleveland Guardians, 1:40 pm ET

Alex Wood gets the call for the Giants, looking to bounce back from an unimpressive season debut. Wood had a good 2021 as he tossed a 3.83 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 152 strikeouts over 138.1 innings pitched. He is solid veteran pitcher in a bounce-back spot at home in a favorable matchup against this lineup.

The Giants won their first 2 series of the season against the Padres and Marlins, outscoring them a combined 27-16. This solid Giants pitching staff matches up well against the Guardians lineup, though. If they can get by a few of the big guys in the lineup without any damage, they should be able to stymie Cleveland again.

NHL: St. Louis Blues vs Nashville Predators – Over 6 Goals (-120), 6:00 pm ET

These teams have played each other 3 times this season and each matchup was loaded with goals. They combined to score 11 goals in their last meeting and 8 in the previous one.

St. Louis is 9-0-1 in its last 10 and scoring goals in bunches. The Blues scored 6 against Minnesota yesterday afternoon and have scored at least 4 goals in each of those 10 games. David Rittich has been below average this season and he’s not likely going to be able to stop this high-powered offense. Nashville is 12th in goals per game and could really beat up on Jordan Binnington today, making the over worth a play.

NBA: New Orleans Pelicans +10.5 (-110) vs Phoenix Suns, 9:00 pm ET

This could be a tough series for the Pelicans and the Suns’ depth should ultimately lift them to the second round, but the combination of Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum on the offensive end should give New Orleans a fighting chance to keep the games close.

Acquiring McCollum at the trade deadline was a significant boost for this team and his scoring ability has taken them into this position, as his performances in the play-in games proved how dangerous he can be. Ingram and McCollum poured in a combined 59 points against the Spurs and then a combined 49 points against the Clippers, so a similar output may be necessary if the Pelicans want to keep this game within double digits. There is no reason they cannot do that, therefore backing the Pelicans to cover will be the play.
