A big Saturday of sports is expected, which means it is time to have some fun and look for some of the best bets across all the different sports and pile them into one parlay. We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay which will take you right through the night, including action from the NHL, NBA, UFC and MLB.
Each pick is taken from a different sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +906 with BetMGM — that’s 9/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.
Best MLB pick: Washington Nationals ML (-105) vs. Philadelphia Phillies, 4:05pm ET
Washington has never lost a game Joe Ross has started against the Phillies. He owns a 1.75 ERA against his division rivals, and he won’t have to deal with the dangerous left-handed bats of Bryce Harper and Didi Gregorius, both of whom are still on the injured list.
Spencer Howard, one of the Phillies’ highly-touted pitching prospects, replaced Chase Anderson in the rotation three turns ago, but Howard hasn’t yet found success at the big-league level. He walks too many, loses velocity as the game goes on and fails to go deep into his starts. For that reason, we will look to the Nationals as slight underdogs.

Best NHL pick: Boston Bruins vs. New York Islanders over 5 goals (-110), 7:15pm ET
Both teams have averaged over three goals per game in the postseason and the Bruins’ powerplay is at 32 percent. Games 1 and 2 saw the teams exchange chances and goals and Game 3 was probably a correction to that style of play. Expect the teams to revert to their offensive ways and put up a big number. Take the over.

Best NBA Pick: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Brooklyn Nets over 238.5 points (-115), 7:35pm ET
These were the two fastest teams during the regular season and the Bucks ended the year averaging 120.1 points per game while the Nets were second with 118.6 per game. Two of their three regular-season meetings went over the total and the teams averaged 240.3 points while shooting 48 and 45 percent from the field. Four of Milwaukee’s last five road games have gone over the total and same goes for four of Brooklyn’s six games overall. As a result, we will look to the over as our play tonight.

Best UFC pick: Augusto Sakai vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik fight to go the Distance – No (-225), 9:30pm ET
Both of these guys are needing a bounce-back win if they are going to get back into the heavyweight title picture. All but one of Jairzinho Rozenstruik’s UFC fights have ended inside the distance and four of Augusto Sakai’s six UFC fights have done the same. We are set to see a fast-paced fight which should end inside the distance.
