We have put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday night, including action from the NFL preseason, MLS, and MLB.

One pick is taken from each sport with 2 picks from the MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +852 with BetMGM; that’s more than 8/1! Let’s break down each of these 4 plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.

MLB pick: Atlanta Braves ML (-160) vs Washington Nationals, 6:05pm ET

Patrick Corbin has allowed 4 runs or more in 6 of his last 7 starts and that sums up his season. Corbin comes into this matchup with a 5.83 ERA and 5.84 xERA which means he has been pitching true to his stats and there is no sign of any improvement in his future. In his 2 starts against Atlanta this season he has allowed 9 runs on 11 hits including 3 home runs in 11.1 innings; to no surprise the Nationals lost both of those games. In fact, the Nationals have lost the last 5 games Corbin has started and 6 of his last 7 starts so he hasn’t exactly been Washington’s lucky charm. Corbin is in the midst of a massive decline so back the Braves and fade Corbin at all costs.

MLB pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (-115) vs New York Mets, 7:10pm ET

Taijuan Walker was really good early in the season for New York–so good that you knew he had to regress. In his first 15 starts, he gave up 3 or more runs just 3 times. He has done so in each of his past 5, causing his ERA to spike. The Dodgers are 15-8 when Walker Buehler starts. L.A. still has more than enough offense even with some guys missing and there is a great chance Buehler holds the Mets to next to nothing. They get their at-bat in the 9th, too, so the run line is not as dangerous of a play. Take Los Angeles.

NFL Preseason Pick: Houston Texans vs Green Bay Packers -3 (-105), 8pm ET

Green Bay is expected to once again be a contender–now that Aaron Rodgers is back on board. Rodgers won’t play in this preseason tilt, but the Packers appear to have a capable backup in 2020 first-round draft pick Jordan Love. It should also be noted that there could actually be somewhat of a home-field advantage in this spot, even though it’s the preseason. The Lambeau Field faithful are always energized and they definitely will be on Saturday after being unable to attend games in 2020. Moreover, the NFC Championship ended on such a sour note that the Packers will want to give their fans something to cheer about…even if it’s a preseason win over the worst team in football. Take GB and give the field goal.

MLS Pick: Sporting Kansas City vs FC Dallas – Over 2.5 Goals (-165), 8:30pm ET

FC Dallas were a squad known for their defense last season, and while their back line has faltered this year after some key departures the front line has picked it up. Dallas has successfully deployed a 4-2-3-1 formation, with 18-year-old rising star Ricardo Pepi up front, and that’s seen them score 7 goals in their last 9 matches, playing to 3 wins and a draw. Just weeks ago, Dallas found themselves in last place in the Western Conference, and they’re now just 2 points out of a playoff spot with plenty of season left.

An equally strong offense, or perhaps an even stronger one, will be on the other side of the ball at Toyota Stadium. Sporting Kansas City come in all alone in 1st place, having overtaken Seattle by a point with the same number of matches played. Kansas City’s 33 goals are a far cry above the rest of the pack in the West–the combination of Daniel Salloi and Alan Pulido up front comprises one of the most dangerous forward duos in the league, and now that Pulido is back with his club after missing a month to play the CONCACAF Gold Cup, they appear close to unstoppable. This looks destined to be a high-scoring match, so bet the over.
