We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday, including action from the UFC, MLS and the MLB.
One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the MLS. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +703 with BetMGM: that’s over 7/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.
MLB pick: Oakland Athletics ML (-150) vs Los Angeles Angels, 4:05pm ET
Jaime Barria will start for Los Angeles, and he has had a very up-and-down Major League career. This will be just his fourth appearance and second start of the 2021 season for the Angels, and he has a 6.23 ERA in 3 appearances thus far. He was able to toss 7.0 strong innings while allowing just 4 hits and 2 runs in his last outing against the Twins, but he faced one of the weaker lineups in the American League that was without Nelson Cruz and Luis Arraez. Oakland’s offense should be able to give him some issues. The Athletics also have the advantage when it comes to the bullpen, so fade the Angels and back the A’s in this spot.

MLS pick: New England Revolution win or tie (-165) vs New York Red Bulls, 6pm ET
The Red Bulls have suffered from a lack of goalscoring (they have just 18 in their 14 matches) and if the season was to end today, they would be outside the playoff picture. They could certainly make a comeback later in the season, but it won’t be against the first-place Revolution. Improve your chances and take a tie or a New England win.

MLS pick: Colorado Rapids vs Austin FC – under 2.5 goals (-115), 9pm ET
Austin’s defense has kept them in games, and the 15 goals the team has allowed is the second-lowest number in the West; only first-place Seattle has conceded fewer. Next up on that list: the Colorado Rapids, who’ve allowed just 16 and travel to Austin for the first time today. The Rapids just finished a four-game home stretch with a 3-0 road loss at Salt Lake last weekend, and while they created plenty of opportunities in that match, they weren’t able to capitalize, so don’t expect them to have much more luck against Austin. The one thing that’s clear with these two teams is that there won’t be a lot of scoring, so set your totals at 2.5 and take the under.

UFC pick: Uriah Hall vs Sean Strickland – Fight to go the distance – No (-165), 11:30pm ET
This fight looks to be much more even than the odds might suggest. Uriah Hall has won four fights in a row and has seen 11 of his UFC fights end inside the distance. Sean Strickland is also on a four-fight win streak and has seen five fights end by finish in the UFC. Hall has shown plenty of power in his career, while Strickland has the ability to fight on the ground and force his opponents to submit if they are not careful. For that reason, backing this fight to end inside the distance is the play.
