We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through New Year’s Day, including action from college football, college basketball, the NHL and NBA.
One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1076 with DraftKings; that’s more than 10/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.
College Basketball: Providence Friars -1 (-115) vs DePaul Blue Demons, 3:00 pm ET
Providence is favored on the road today but this game is basically a pick’em. That makes it a great opportunity depending on which team you believe in more. I definitely am on board with Providence being a quality team this season. I am still not sold that DePaul has turned a corner. The Blue Demons might be improving, but this would be a big statement. I like the Friars to get another close win. They are 2-0 SU/ATS on the road this season.

NHL: Ottawa Senators vs Toronto Maple Leafs – Over 6 goals (-125), 7:05 pm ET
A constant theme in the Battle of Ontario is high-scoring shootouts. 17 of their last 24 matchups have included 6 or more total goals. One thing we’ve seen in teams returning from a break, is sloppy and unstructured play defensively and in goal. Jack Campbell has been great for the Leafs all year, but even a goaltender of his caliber needs to shake off their rust. Strong offensive weapons on both sides will take advantage of many chances tonight, exploding the goal total in the game.

NBA: Chicago Bulls -2 (-115) vs Washington Wizards, 7:10 pm ET
Chicago enters the game having covered in 4 of its last 5 and in head-to-head meetings it is 7-2 SU in the last 9 vs Washington. Plus, the Bulls have covered in 8 of 9 visits.
Chicago’s biggest weakness is rebounding, but that might not be a problem with the Wizards missing Montrezl Harrell, Davis Bertans, and Thomas Bryant. Both DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine are in fine form; they struggled a bit last night at Indiana, so a bounce-back performance is expected from both. The Bulls are 5-2 in their last 7 on the road; back them to continue their winning streak.

College Football: Baylor Bears vs Ole Miss Rebels ML (-115), 8:45 pm ET
Perhaps the biggest storyline entering this matchup is that Ole Miss QB Matt Corral is suiting up for the Rebels. After some speculation that Corral may forgo the Sugar Bowl in order to prepare for the NFL Draft, he announced that he is ready to roll and will lead the Rebel offense against an upstart Baylor team.
That is certainly great news for Ole Miss, as Corral can make plays with both his arm and his legs. Corral was 1 of only 4 quarterbacks at the FBS level to throw for 20+ touchdowns and run for at least 10 touchdowns. Corral leads a Rebel offense that plays extremely fast and posted the 4th-most yards per game in the country (506.7). Overall, Ole Miss is 12-2 in its past 14 bowl games dating back to 1992 and 10-4 in bowls against current Big 12 members. Back the Rebels on the money line.
