One more day of action from the NCAA tournament is set to get underway before we officially determine the Sweet 16. Besides the tournament, there are also plenty of other sports to find value on. This means it is time to have some fun and look for some of the best bets across all the different sports and pile them into one parlay. We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay which will take you right through the day, including action from the NHL, NBA, and college basketball.
Each pick is taken from a different sport with a second pick from the NCAA Tournament. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +2829 with FanDuel — more than 28/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.
Best College Basketball Pick: Oregon Ducks +5 (-116) vs. Iowa Hawkeyes, 12:10 p.m ET
Quite simply, Oregon has not been getting the respect they deserve. They have been on fire ever since starting point guard Will Richardson came back midway through the season, and their offense is incredibly hard to slow down. Everything we have seen so far in this tournament indicates the Pac-12 was much better than everyone realized, and there’s still value on its teams. Iowa’s defense has been shaky all season and they looked less than spectacular once again against Grand Canyon. Oregon is likely going to cover this spread.

Best NHL Pick: Edmonton Oilers ML (+106) vs. Montreal Canadiens, 7:08 p.m ET
The Edmonton Oilers have climbed into a tie for the top spot in the North Division with the Toronto Maple Leafs after winning three in a row. On Monday they will head to Montreal to play the Montreal Canadiens, who have lost four of their last six. The Oilers have finally found a true starting goalie in Mike Smith, who is 11-3 on the year with a .922 save percentage and two shutouts. Having a decent goaltender is all the Oilers need when they have the NHL points leader Connor McDavid as their top center. McDavid has 58 points on the season, including 10 in his last five games. McDavid and the Oilers will be too much for the Canadiens to handle as Edmonton continues to keep their winning streak alive.

Best College Basketball Pick: LSU Tigers +5 (-110) vs. Michigan Wolverines, 7:10 p.m ET
Michigan is still missing Isaiah Livers and this is the game where that becomes more of a concern. There might have been a little pressure on Michigan in their opening game but they knew if they didn’t beat themselves they would win. However, Michigan is just 3-3 in their last six games and did not cover in round one. I am not saying that makes them vulnerable, I am saying they already were. Michigan has been a great story but Livers is key to what they do and now they are going to have to have others step up. I see this as a one-possession game.

Best NBA Pick: Toronto Raptors vs. Houston Rockets ML (+300), 7:10 p.m ET
These are the two coldest teams in the NBA. The will-to-win is there for Houston, we saw that last night at home against OKC. Nobody likes to go into the history books for the wrong reasons and with their trio of Wood, Wall and Oladipo back I think it’s time for Houston to end this poor run and finally win one. I’ll go with the home team to get the win straight up.
